Outstanding Winchester Model 65 Lever Action Rifle in Desirable .218 Bee - Serial no. 1003961, 218 bee cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1933-1947 with this example chambered in highly sought after .218 Bee. The barrel has a hooded blade ramp front sight, a filler
block in the rear sight dovetail, and standard Winchester markings including “218 BEE” on the left side at the breech. There is a peep sight mounted on the bolt and single Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. There is a “W” stamped on the bottom of the receiver below the serial number. The grip stock is fitted with a checkered shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with a few minor scratches on the bottom of the receiver, a few scattered small patches of brown patina on the lever, and a light speckling of surface oxidation on some areas of the receiver. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered minor dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000
LOT 3583 Excellent Pre-World War II Winchester Model 71 Deluxe Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 15247, 348 WCF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1939, this is a desirable “long upper tang” variation of a Winchester Model 71 rifle. The rifle is fitted with a Winchester 97A non-glare ramp front sight with brass bead, No. 22J flat top rear sight with elevator and half magazine. The left side of the barrel has the Model 71 legend followed by “348 W.C.F.” A Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Import marked on underside of barrel. The underside of the receiver has the pre-World War II serial number. Sling eyes are mounted on the underside of the forend cap and buttstock. Mounted on a checkered pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber grip cap and added Winchester recoil pad and matching checkered forearm. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with some flaking turned to brown mostly on the forend cap, numerous spots of brown on underside of receiver, and lever. The wood is also excellent with some scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. An excellent pre-World War II deluxe Winchester Model 71 rifle. LOT 3584 Winchester Deluxe Model 71 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 37856, 348 Win cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1954 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with ramped and hooded beaded blade front sight, filler block in the rear dovetail, and receiver mounted Lyman 56 peep sight. Sling swivels are mounted on the forend cap and stock.
Mounted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and checkered shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with minor handling evidence, a few minor scratches in the wood, and

Excellent Pre-World War II Winchester Deluxe Model 64 Lever Action “Deer” Rifle with Desirable 20 Inch Barrel - Serial no. 1241197, 30 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1940 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The desirable 20 inch barrel is fitted with hooded, ramped, beaded blade front and elevation adjustable notch rear sights, sling swivels on the forearm cap and stock, and the left side of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a peep sight with filler screws in place. Mounted with a checkered semi-beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Excellent, retains 90% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with the balance having thinned slightly to a smooth grey patina, primarily near the muzzle, on the lever, and edges of the buttplate, and a few scattered light dings. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500
