Cased, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 23 Side by Side Custom Two Barrel Hunting Set Shotgun - Serial no. WBS-59E, 20
gauge, 25 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof steel barrels
marked “MODEL XXIII - WINCHESTER CUSTOM 2 BARREL HUNTING SET - 20 GA. 2 3/4” & 3”” on the left barrel with
automatic ejectors, improved cylinder/modified chokes, and “WP” proofs on the flats. Both barrel sets feature wedges of
light scroll engraving and are numbered “1” and “2” respectively at the breech end of the rib. Blue boxlock receiver with jeweled
watertable and fine scroll engraving surrounding gold inlaid scenes of grouse on the right, a pheasant on the left, and a bust of John Olin’s famous lab, King Buck, with a duck in his mouth on the underside. The trigger guard tang is marked “ONE OF 500”. Beautifully figured, checkered pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm with fancy fleur- de-lis carved accents, engraved blue steel grip cap, blank initial oval, and solid Winchester/Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. The 28 gauge barrel set is also 25 1/2 inches and features 2
3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, improved cylinder/modified chokes, and its own matching forearm. Includes a leather bound takedown case for the set, two sets of snap caps (one for each gauge), oiler, and original boxes for the gun and extra barrel set. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/16 inches; weight 6 lbs. 15 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and gold finishes, limited handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case and boxes are very fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000

Desirable Engraved Winchester DHE Grade Parker Reproduction Side by Side 28 Gauge Two Barrel Set Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 28-01245, 28 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in the 1980s to be a faithful reproduction of the beloved Parker side by side
shotgun, this example has standard floral scroll engraving with a dog on point on each side of the action and three pheasants in a field scene on the underside. The barrels have
a single brass bead sight on the matte concave solid rib, modified/full chokes, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. It has blue barrels, buttplate and trigger guard and casehardened remaining parts. It is mounted on a
very nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut forearm with engraved hardware and straight grip stock with
teardrop flats, lightly engraved skeletonized buttplate, checkered bare butt, and gold initial oval. It includes a Parker Reproduction
leather takedown case with outer canvas cover, two nickel snap caps, and keys. Includes an extra 26 inch solid rib barrel set with 2 3/4 inch chambers and improved cylinder/modified chokes. Additional barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .551/.551 inches; wall thickness at nine inches from breech .0345/.0345 inches; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; 14 1/4 inch length of pull. CONDITION: Near new with original finish. Displaying some light handling marks. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering, small handling marks, and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with light handling and storage marks.

rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with single brass bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib, standard barrel markings, small wedges of scroll at the breeches, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and interchangeable choke tube system (skeet/
improved cylinder installed). The coin finished boxlock action displays scroll engraving on all sides covering nearly all of the surface with “RBL” on a ribbon on the underside. The gun features a single selective trigger and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fitting and Anson button style release and pistol grip stock with coin grip cap and Kick-Eez recoil pad. Includes a takedown case containing two snap caps, a nickel oiler, a two piece wooden
cleaning rod, cleaning supplies, and a choke tube pouch containing three chokes (modified, improved modified, and full). Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 7/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 11 oz.
