Manufactured as one of 500. Dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib which is marked “QUAIL SPECIAL”, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and WinChoke system (modified/full installed). The coin finished action features a dog flushing two quail on the left, a pair of quail in flight on the right, and a single quail with “WINCHESTER/QUAIL SPECIAL” on the bottom, all surrounded by floral
scrollwork. Single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Beautifully
Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with Winchester recoil pad. Includes a Winchester luggage style
takedown case with two extra chokes (skeet and improved cylinder). Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 10 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Winchester Double Xpress Grand European XTR Over/Under Rifle with Box and Case - Serial no. DRN01019E, 270 Win cal., 23 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock.
Blued steel barrels with ramped beaded blade front sight, fold rear sight on the rear quarter rib which hosts quick detach scope mounts and is marked “Grand European”. The coin finishes action displays a boar on the left, a stag on the right, and a mouflon sheep on the underside, all of which are surrounded by extensive floral scrollwork. The rifle features a single trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety switch.

CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, some slight discoloration in areas of the coin, residue in areas on the metal and wood, grease staining at the muzzle and barrel lugs, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is excellent and the box is very fine. Mechanically excellent. The shotgun chamber is marked 3 inches with an automatic ejector and WinChoke system (full installed). The coin finished action displays extensive floral scroll engraving with “WINCHESTER/Super Grade” marked on the underside. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with checkered flats and Winchester rubber recoil pad. Includes a factory luggage style takedown case.
