Very Scarce and Highly Desirable SIG Model PE57 Semi-
Automatic Rifle with Bayonet - Serial no.
PE4579, 7.5 Swiss cal., 24 inch round bbl., black
finish, synthetic stock. This is a very rare semi-
automatic commercial model of the Swiss
Sturmgewehr 57 that remained in use until approximately 1980. These were imported for only a very short time in the early 1980s, thus making them very scarce and desirable on the collectors market. Adjustable folding
blade front and peep rear sight, both
folding, with the “Swiss cross in shield”
marking on top of the receiver, carry handle, matching numbers on
the receiver, bolt head, trigger housing, and stock. Integral muzzle break and
bayonet lug. Fitted with a winter style flip down extended trigger. Vented metal handguard with folding bipod and ribbed rubber grip section, serrated pistol grip, and straight rubberized buttstock. Includes bayonet and sheath, manual, and three extra magazines.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus black finish with limited handling marks some light scuffing on the handguard, and a safety drag line. Mechanically excellent.
Estimate: 16,000 - 25,000

Exceptional and Scarce Fabrique Nationale
G Series (G3130) FAL Semi-Automatic Rifle
with Scope - Serial no. G3130, 308 Win cal., 22
inch round bbl., black/blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured
in Belgium, this rifle is part of a limited importation run performed by Browning Arms in the early 1970s. Originally approved by the ATF
for importation, only a limited number made it into the country before they reversed their decision, determining that the imported commercial FALs were too close to FN’s selective-fire capable military contract FALs in configuration. Further import was cut off, and the ones already through customs were given a pass and added to the ATF C&R List (see page 23). Standard military sights, long flash hider, bayonet lug and adjustable gas port with grenade setting. The upper receiver is fitted with a raised action cover with integral scope base and Belgian O.I.P. 3.6x scope, No. 4681/C638. The left side of the upper receiver is marked “F.A.L. cal. 308”, and the right side bears the one-line Fabrique Nationale address. The lower receiver has the “S/R/A” selector markings with a pin inserted to lock out the “A” spot. Grooved triangular forearm with folding bipod, smooth plastic pistol grip numbered to the gun, and a walnut stock with the standard stamped sheet steel buttplate. Includes 3 extra magazines.
CONDITION: Excellent. 97% plus original finish remains with some scattered light handling marks and light travel line under the safety lever. Grip and stock are also excellent. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with
clear optics.
Estimate: 12,000 - 18,000
