Very Fine Framed Ithaca “Extinct Passenger Pigeon” Advertisement - Ithaca Guns ad reading “EXTINCT/Passenger Pigeons/ITHACA GUNS/Out Shoot Them All” with “AUTHORIZED AGENT” at the bottom flanked by “$37.50” and “$750.00” representing the price of the lowest and highest grades of Ithaca shotgun. In the middle of the advertisement is a painting of two passenger pigeons hiding on
a tree branch while the sky behind them is filled with their migrating comrades.
A lone hunter stands in a field below them. Mounted in a grey painted wooden frame. Frame measures 23 1/2 inches x 34 3/4 inches.
CONDITION: Very fine with some handling marks, small creases, a tear at the bottom, and some small spots of light staining. Colors remain vibrant. Provenance: The George F. Gamble Collection.

CONDITION: Fine with 80% original blue finish remaining, areas of edge wear, well defined markings, mostly gray patina on the magazine tube, small scratches on the receiver, and some light flaking. The wood is also fine with scattered small dings and some spotting on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
