Attractive Winchester Deluxe Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle with Tom Selleck Letter of Documentation - Serial no. 410511, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, highly figured checkered walnut stock. Manufactured in 1921. The rifle is fitted
with a modern blade front sight and a Lyman receiver
sight, and a filler block resides in the rear sight dovetail. The rifle
features standard Winchester markings, including the Winchester factory proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Sling eyelets are mounted
on the underside of the barrel and stock. The right side of the upper tang is stamped
“1032.” The checkered forearm and straight grip stock are highly figured select grade walnut. The
Schnabel tipped forend has an ebony insert. The buttstock is fitted with a black recoil pad and has an inlaid
inscription inlay featuring actor Tom Selleck’s initials. In his accompanying letter Tom Selleck confirmed the rifle was professionally restored by Doug Turnbull: “Doug [Turnbull] has restored many rifles that I have hunted with, which was my
plan for this 1895, and he did his usual expert restoration on it. It turns out it was just too nice to beat up.” CONDITION: Near mint as professionally restored overall showing minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Tom Selleck Collection. Estimate: 5,000 - 7,500
LOT 1067 Attractive Engraved and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 94 Lever Action Carbine - Serial no. 1940000, 30-30 Win cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, highly figured checkered walnut stock. Manufactured in 1952 and subsequently attractively embellished. The barrel features a gold band at the muzzle and two at the breech with small sprays of floral scroll coming from both. The receiver features a gold inlaid border on with curls
at the rear on both sides, floral scroll engraving on the sides with light flourishes on the
sides and tang as well as a kidney shaped panel scene with a relief inlaid cowboy riding through a desert with a skull in
the foreground, and a white-tailed deer on the right in a wooded scene. Mounted in an excellently figured, multipoint checkered walnut carbine forend and straight grip stock with rear sling eyelet and checkered blue steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as elaborately custom embellished, retaining 95% blue finish with some thinning to a grey patina
on the top of the receiver and crisp engraving. Stock is very fine as well with some dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

At the center of either side is a game scene, the left depicting a raised relief squirrel and the right a rabbit bounding across the forest floor. The bottom of the
squirrel scene is signed “K. HORVATH” for engraver Kurt Horvath. Mounted with a magnificently contrasted, multipoint checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded/custom embellished by Kurt Horvath, retaining 99% plus blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with a few minor handling marks close to
the action on the buttstock and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000
