oval marked with and “L” under an Earl’s coronet, rear sling swivel, and replacement red rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 14 13/16 inches. Cast-off. Weight 13 lbs. 6 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as professionally refurbished, retaining 99% blue and casehardened finishes with minor handling evidence, slightly loose grip cap, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The engraving is crisp. Mechanically excellent. A highly attractive factory engraved Holland & Holland 10 bore sidelock double barrel paradox gun built for British sportsman and explorer Hugh Lowther, 5th Earl of Lonsdale, that will make a grand statement to any big game sporting collection.
