LOT 3523 Attractive Game Scene Engraved Winchester Model 21 Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 29891, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel marked barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch wedges of floral scroll engraving at either breech, chokes marked “FULL”/”MOD”, and 2 3/4 inch
chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued boxlock action displays modified Winchester 21-6 pattern engraving sans the gold inlay on the game scenes. The left shows a setter in a field scene, the right has a pointer in a field scene, the underside shows a pair of setters pointing in a field scene, and a bust of a pointer on the triggerguard all surrounded by scroll engraving.

Winchester Model 21 Trap Double Barrel Shotgun Two Barrel Set with Case - Serial no. 7166, 20/28 gauge, 26 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue finish, walnut stock. Blued Winchester Proof steel barrels with a dual bead sights on the matted concave solid rib, chokes marked
“IMP.-CYL.”/”FULL”, and chambers marked 2 7/8 inches with automatic ejectors. The blued action is unadorned other than the “TRAP”
marking on the underside and features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-
point checkered beavertail forend and straight grip stock with leather covered rubber recoil pad. Includes a second numbered to match
20 gauge barrel set which measures 26 inches and features chokes marked “WS-1”/”WS-2” and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic
ejectors. Also includes a wood and leather takedown case that houses the entire set as well as a pair of nickel snap caps for each gauge
and a nickel oiler. Barrel measurements for the 28 gauge set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .552/.555 inches; choke
constriction .005/.026 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the primary set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech

CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 95% factory quality refurbished blue finish on the receiver with some thinning and spotting on the barrels and light handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a
few light scratches, some wear to the varnish on the underside of the forend, and crisp checkering. The extra barrel set is excellent with 95% blue finish. The case is very good with an absent corner cover
and handle. Mechanically excellent.
