Colt Etched Panel New Line .41 Spur Trigger Revolver with Rare 4 Inch Barrel
- Serial no. 7570, 41 CF cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured in 1877, the standard two-line address on top of the barrel, desirable “COLT NEW 41” etched panel on the left. There are British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and on the cylinder. The left of the frame is marked “41CAL C”. The full serial number is on the left of the grip frame and bottom of the barrel, and the partial serial number “570” is on the rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with smooth rosewood grips, the right panel having “IW75” carved on the inside.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% of the original blue finish and 85% vibrant case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina with a crisp etched panel. The grips are fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Attractive Engraved Colt Third Model “Thuer” Derringer with Case - Serial no. 5064, 41 RF cal., 2 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/ silver finish, hardwood grips. These Third Model Derringers were manufactured from 1875 to 1912. The top of the barrel is marked “-COLT-” in italics, faint British proofs on the bottom of the barrel, and the caliber marking on the left of the frame. The serial number is marked on the left of the frame and faintly on the inside
of each grip. It has masterfully executed floral scroll engraving which was subsequently added as it is cut through the plating. Includes a leather wrapped case with fitted interior. CONDITION: Very good, retains 30% of the original silver finish with the balance having thinned to either a smooth grey or attractively aged brass with a few patches of scattered light pitting and crisp engraving overall. The grips are good with some minor handling marks scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild wear. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250

41 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1883, this is one of
only approximately 4,000 New House Model revolvers produced. The top of the barrel has the two-line address, and the “COLT HOUSE 41” etched panel is on the
left. There are British proofs on the
barrel and cylinder. It has standard
features and is fitted with a pair of
checkered hard rubber grips with
“COLT” at the tops. The serial number
is on the butt. The back strap is hand
engraved “F.T. BAKER. GUN MANUFACTURER. LONDON.” Includes an oak presentation case with an F.T. Baker retailer label inside the lid and a cleaning rod.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth brown-grey patina and the etched panel crisp. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case
is fine with some scattered minor handling/ storage markings.

Manufactured in 1876, the standard two-line address on top of the barrel, desirable “COLT NEW 41” etched panel on the left. There are British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and on
the cylinder. The left of the frame is marked “41CAL C”. The full serial number is on the left of the grip frame and bottom of the barrel, and the partial serial number “686” is on the rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with smooth rosewood grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original nickel finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and the etched panel crisp. The grips are also very fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
