CONDITION: Excellent plus. The revolver appears to be unfired and retains 99% of the original nickel-plated finish. Finish wear is limited to three very minor areas of flaking on the lower right side of the frame and some minor flaking at the edges of the grip on the back strap. The extra barrel has nearly all of the original finish. The trigger guard, trigger, and hammer have 99% of the vivid case colors. The black, checkered, hard rubber, grips are mint. Markings are crisp. The case is in good condition. The satin lining is excellent; the lining is not faded and
is generally free of grease stains or compression marks. Wear is limited to a small tear from the revolvers front sight. The leather interior label is in very fine condition. The Morocco leather case cover shows moderate wear with numerous exterior scuff marks and some tears
at the edges. The bottom of the case is loose. This is an outstanding, near mint, example of a matching
numbered Merwin Hulbert DA revolver with rare deluxe Hartley & Graham case.
Provenance: The Tom Selleck Collection.
