Attractive Colt Model 1903 Semi- Automatic Hammerless Semi-Automatic Pistol with Pearl Grips and Rare Factory Presentation Case - Serial no. 377396, 32 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, pearl grips. Manufactured in 1921. The left of the matching number slide has the two-line address and patent dates with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and the right has the caliber marking. The left side of the frame is marked with the serial number and the left of the trigger guard is marked “R/VP”. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of smooth pearl grips. Includes a rare leatherette wrapped presentation case with gold Colt marking on the interior lining of the lid. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 98% plus of
the factory finished nickel with a couple very small specks of flaking and a few scattered light handling marks. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some minor flaking of the leatherette wrap and mild wear.

Colt Model 1902 Military Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 40642,
38 Colt auto cal., 6 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1919. The pistol has the slide
serrations on the rear of the slide and a lanyard loop on the left rear of the
frame. The left side of the slide is marked with Colt’s two-line, two-block patent
marking and address: “PATENTED/APR.20,1897. SEPT.9,1902” followed by “COLT’S
PT.F.A.MFG.CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.”. The Rampant Colt is stamped behind the slide serrations.
The right side of the slide is marked: “AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS” in
two lines. The left side of the frame has the serial number located above the trigger guard bow.
A small numeral “1” and the Colt “VP” triangle proof mark are on the left trigger guard bow. The
magazine is two tone and marked “MIL./COLT/38 CAL.” on the floor plate. The pistol features the
high polish Colt blue finish and checkered hard rubber grips with “Colt” in a ribbon at the top and
the Rampant Colt in a circle in the center. The hammer and lanyard loop are casehardened.
CONDITION: Very fine with 85% plus of the original blue finish remaining. Wear is limited to the
front of the slide and high edges. There is some scattered minor specks of oxidation visible on the slide and
upper back strap and there are a few minor dings overall. The hammer retains 80% of the original vivid casehardened colors. The grips are also very fine with minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 42001, 38
Colt auto cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish,
hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1919. Standard fixed sights, two block,
two line patent dates (1897 & 1902)/address with the Rampant Colt behind the
serrations, serial number n the left side of the frame, and “AUTOMATIC COLT/
CALIBER 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS” on the right side of the slide. The left side of
the trigger guard bow is marked “1/VP”, and “93” on the reverse. Checkered casehardened hammer, full blue Colt marked magazine and checkered grips with the Rampant Colt logos in the center and “Colt” banners at the tops.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus original blue finish, 95% vivid case colors showing a few small dings on the front strap, some mild edge wear, tool marks visible around the slide wedge and frame pins, and scattered light handling marks. Grips are also excellent, with a few light dings on the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Pre-World War II Colt
Ace Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 4715,
22 LR cal., 5 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured in 1933, this is an outstanding example of a
pre-World War II Colt Ace pistol. Blade front and adjustable
notch rear sights, the two-line address and patent dates
on the left side of the slide followed by the Rampant Colt, and the Colt
Ace logo and caliber markings on the right. The serial number is on the right side of the frame. The trigger guard is marked “12” on the right and “3/VP” on the left. It is fitted with a short checkered trigger, wide checkered hammer, checkered arched mainspring housing, a set of fully checkered grips, and a two- tone magazine with Colt Ace marked base.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 90% plus of the original blue finish with
some mild wear on the leading edges of the slide, a moderate ding in the upper
left of the slide, and some scattered light handling/takedown marks. The grips are
excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500

Pre-World War II Colt
Government Model
National Match Semi-Automatic Pistol -
Serial no. C198748, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1939, the left side of the
matching numbered slide has the standard two-line address
and patent dates while the right has the standard National Match and Colt
markings followed by the Rampant Colt, as well as being fitted with the Swartz
safety. The left of the trigger guard is marked “4/VP” while the right is marked
“60”, and the standard Government Model marking is over the serial number on
the right of the frame. The full-blue barrel is marked “COLT 45 AUTO” on the lower
left. It is fitted with blade front and notch rear sights, checkered slide stop, thumb
safety, and wide hammer, an arched checkered mainspring housing, a replacement
long smooth trigger, a full blue magazine with Colt markings on the base plate, and
a pair of checkered walnut grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% of the factory, post-war refurbished blue finish with a few scattered patches of cold blue touch up on the sides of the slide and bottom front of the frame, and the balance a smooth grey patina. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Outstanding Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket Semi- Automatic Pistol with Factory Letter - Serial no. 398749, 25 ACP cal., 2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1935 with standard two-line address/patent dates and Rampant Colt on the left of the slide, caliber marking on the right, serial number on the left of the frame, “4” over “VP” and “99” marked trigger guard, and standard features. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration, grips not listed, as well as shipment to H&D Folsom Arms Company in New York on 5 June 1935.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains 99% plus of the original blue and vivid casehardened finishes with only the slightest handling marks. The grips are also excellent plus with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
