LOT 401
Unusual Norinco Model 213 Tokarev Pistol with Combination Shoulder Stock
and Knife, Class III/NFA Short Barreled Rifle - Serial no. 416193, 9 mm cal., 4 1/2
inch round bbl., blue finish, metal stock, plastic grips. Manufactured in China at Factory
66 and imported by Sportarms of Miami, Florida, this Model 213 has been built up on the backstrap to create a mounting slot suitable for a buttstock. Seen on famous handguns
such as the Mauser Broomhandle, Luger, and the FN/Browning High Power, stocked pistols were a famous niche item for service and survival use, a sort of “ur-PDW” that fell out of style after World War II. Fixed sights, the importer mark on the right side of the slide, matching numbers on the slide, barrel, frame, and hammer housing, and a set of “5-pointed star” grips. The stock is a novel item, being both a stock and a combat knife; the sheath is fitted with
a mounting iron and serves as the “wrist” of the stock, and the knife has a slotted tang and pushbutton latch that lets the grip slide back and down to make the “butt” of the stock.
In hand, the knife measures 10 7/8 inches overall length with a 6 inch blade and a ribbed plastic grip, and when mounted the length of pull is about 15 1/2 inches.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus factory quality blue finish, showing light scratches and handling marks overall, with some minor spotting on the gripstraps. The welding and cutting to form the stock slot is professionally executed. Some light scratches are present on the grip panels and knife grip, and the mounting iron and swivel hinge are
in good order. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a
National Firearms Act (NFA),
fully transferable Class 3,
which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500
