The blued boxlock action displays modified Winchester 21-6 pattern engraving sans the gold inlay on the game scenes. The left shows a setter in a field scene, the right has a pointer in a field scene, the underside shows a pair of setters pointing in a field scene, and a bust of a pointer on the trigger guard all surrounded by scroll engraving. The gun features a single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety switch. Outstanding, highly figured, fancy 21-B pattern fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings, rotary latch release, and ebony tip inlay and Monte-Carlo pistol grip stock with matching fleur-de-lis checkering and scroll engraved grip cap and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. The included factory letter lists this gun as a 12 gauge Trap Grade with 30 inch vent rib barrels, non-automatic safety, pistol grip stock, and full/ modified chokes when inspection was completed on September 23, 1954. The letter also lists two repair and refinish dates, the first October 14, 1964 also shows the stock had been modified, and the second was August 10, 1966. “LC” Signed, Game Scene Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Winchester 28 Gauge Model 12 Pigeon Grade Slide Action Skeet Shotgun - Serial no. 313942, 28 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, fancy checkered walnut stock. Manufactured
in 1922 and subsequently wonderfully upgraded to its current configuration. Blued custom replacement 28 gauge barrel with a dual nickel bead sights on the matted solid rib, chamber
marked 2 7/8 inches, choke marked skeet, and small wedges of scroll engraving at either side of the
breech. The blued receiver displays highly attractive 12-5 pattern style engraving with beautiful scrollwork surrounding game scenes on
either side. The left scene depicts a pair of pointers
fine semi-relief gold inlays showing very nice contrast. The left scene is signed in the rocks at the bottom of the scene with “LC” for an unknown, highly skilled engraver. Beautifully figured, multi-
on point as a pair of grouse flush in a field and the right shows a flock of four mallards in flight over water. The animals are all rendered in
point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with factory grip cap and buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 8 oz. Game Scene Engraved and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 25941, 410 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured in 1937 and subsequently upgraded to its current configuration. Blued barrel with dual white sights on the Simmons marked matted vent rib, chamber marked 3 inches, and choke marked full. The blued receiver displays highly attractive floral scroll engraving
with gold borders surrounding a highly detailed relief gold inlaid eagle with talon at the ready on
eagle bust on the top side. This gun was purportedly engraved by Master Engraver Jeff Flannery, though the piece is unsigned it is certainly of that level of
either side and an
quality. Highly figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 13 7/8 inch
length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: Very fine as custom upgraded, retaining 99% blue and gold finishes, some sub-finish pitting on the action and barrels, some wear to the wood varnish, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
