LOT 1422 Factory Game Scene Engraved J. P. Sauer & Sohn Boxlock Drilling with Scope - Serial no. 2025, 16/9.3x72R gauge, 27 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued Krupp Fluss-Stahl barrels with beaded blade front, flip-up rear sights, and claw mounts holding a Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialytan 4x scope on the matted solid rib, 1924 dated German proofs, chambers proved at 2 3/4 inches with a single extractor, and choke constrictions of .030/.029 inches. The casehardened scalloped, boxlock action displays a running red stag and hind on the left and a pointer flushing a quail on the right both surrounded by scroll. The gun features
double triggers (front is a single set), cocking indicators, a Greener style safety, and tang mounted selector switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and horn grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 13 7/8 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 4 oz. with scope.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% reapplied blue finish, traces of case colors on the action with the balance a fine silver patina, overall mild
handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the wood. The scope has clear optics. Mechanically excellent.

Blued Krupp Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip-up rear sights on the matted solid rib along with claw mounts holding an M.S.W. Wetzlar 4x scope, dual bands of engraving around the breeches, 1942 dated German proofs, 2 1/2 inch chambers with a single extractor, and choke constrictions of .033/.033 inches. The casehardened boxlock action displays light scroll engraving and features double triggers (front is a single set), cocking indicators, a Greener style safety, and tang mounted selector switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and horn grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 13 11/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 11 oz. (including scope).

Blued Krupp-Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade and flip up rear sights on the matted solid rib which is marked “FRIEDER MULLER, ASCHERSLEBEN”, 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractors, and choke constrictions of .030/.033 inches. The scalloped boxlock action features sideclips, light engraving, bushed firing pins, Greener style safety, double triggers, and tang mounted safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forend with Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 14 5/16 inches. Weight 6 lbs. 7 oz.

“C. STIEGELE KGL. BAYR. HOEGEWEHRFABRIK MUNCHEN” in gold inlaid letters, dual gold bands at the breeches, choke constrictions of .013/.032 inches, and 2 1/2 inch chambers with
extractor. The coin finished sidelock action displays a pair of capercallie cocks posturing for a trio of hens on the left and a fox approaching a hare and a pair of quail on the right all surrounded by leafy scroll. The gun features double trigger (front is a single set), gold accented cocking indicator, Greener style safety with gold “S”, tang mounted selector with gold indicator, and flip-up tang peep sight. Nicely figured,
multi-point checkered forend and straight grip stock with capercallie engraved cartridge trap and hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull 13 1/8 inches. Weight 6 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Very good overall, showing an attractive mix of brown and grey patina on the barrels, nearly all of the coin finish with some discoloration on the forend shoe, a few dings and scratches on the stock,
