CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue and coin finishes with some light rubbin right breech, and overall minor handling evidence. The buttplate is chipped at the toe, otherwise the wood is excellent with a few
sharp checkering. The case is very good. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 8,000 - 13,000

“EIBAR, SPAIN” on the right and left barrels respectively. Receiver and side plates feature full coverage English scroll and floral bouquet engraving, gold inlaid cocking indicators, standard maker’s marks and Spanish proofs, single non-selective trigger, and a tang mounted safety switch. The trigger guard is similarly engraved with the initials “MPC” in gold inlay and “Mo. 13” and “Made in Spain” engraved on the trigger guard tang. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, engraved steel grip cap, sling swivel studs, shadow line cheekpiece, and a solid recoil pad. Stock dimensions are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.
CONDITION: Excellent. 95% original blue finish remains with small handling marks overall, mild pitting around the muzzle and light surface spotting. The case colors are vivid and the engraving sharp. There is some light spotting on the trigger. The gold inlay is complete. The wood is also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
