The included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt with blue finish (likely a factory error), and grips not listed when shipped to Gopher Shooters Supplies in Faribault, Minnesota, on February 20, 1973, in a two gun shipment. Per page 41 of Don Wilkerson’s “The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1955-1975” this is one of only 1,439 manufactured in this configuration. Includes an unnumbered Colt stagecoach box.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% plus original nickel finish with some light wear at the muzzle, and surface oxidation on the loading gate, hammer, and trigger guard. Grips are excellent with minimal handling marks. Box is very fine. Mechanically excellent.

The included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 Long Colt with blue finish and grips not listed when shipped to Dixie Gun Works in Union City, Tennessee, on September 4, 1970 in a four gun shipment. Per page 191 of Don Wilkerson’s “The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1955-1975” this is one of only 1,026 revolvers manufactured in this configuration. Includes a Colt stagecoach box which numbered to the gun on the bottom in blue ink.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks and a faint partial cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.

One of just 124 Second Generation Colt Single Action Army revolvers made in this configuration, as listed in Don Wilkerson’s “The Post-War Colt Single- Action Revolver, 1955-1975.” Assembly number “26” is found on the loading gate. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, back strap, both grip panels (130), and cylinder. Includes reproduction Colt black box with manual and bore brush.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original nickel finish with scattered handling marks, light cylinder drag line, some scattered light flaking heavier on the top strap, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine.
