Engraved and Gold Inlaid Third Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Case and Factory Letter - Serial no. SA02169, 45 Long
Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, carved grips. Manufactured in 1978 and subsequently custom engraved and gold plated. Features full floral design engraving on the frame and 60% on the barrel. Inlaid with gold bordering at the muzzle, chamber, and around the outlines
of the cylinder. The recoil shields is engraved with the mystical sword in the stone. A dog head with gold inlaid eyes is engraved on the hammer. The top of the barrel is marked with the one-line address, the left side is marked “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45”, and the two-line/three-patent date marking is
on the left side of the frame followed by a “Rampant Colt.” Both sides of the
grip feature relief carved blank inscription panels. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, 7 1/2 inch barrel and a blue finish with grips as “Not Listed” when it was shipped as a group of 45 revolvers to Ski’s Sporting Center in Ottsville, Pennsylvania, on September 25, 1978.
CONDITION: Very fine overall as professionally embellished, retaining 99% plus of the blue and casehardened finishes with light handling marks and un-separated chip on the right grip panel.
Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.

Box and Factory Letter - Serial no. SA57758, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel finish, original grips. The included factory letter confirms the 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 Long
Colt, nickel finish, grip material, and “C” class standard engraving (engraver’s name not listed) when shipped to Hill Country Wholesale in Austin, Texas, on December 20, 1984, as a single shipment for Colt Custom Shop order number 2661. The left grip panel features a relief carved “rampant colt” while
the right panel is smooth. Left side of grip frame marked “COLT/ENG.” Matching
serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, and back strap. Matching partial serial number “7759” on cylinder. Includes original Colt “wood grain” box with end label marked “10 of 13,” and confirming type “C” factory engraving and nickel finish. Grips listed as rosewood.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus of original nickel finish with limited handling marks and faint traces of a cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine.

Single Action Army Revolver with Case - Serial
no. SA07365, 44 special cal., 7 1/2 inch round
bbl., blue/casehardened finish, smooth grips.
Manufactured in 1979 with standard markings and features with class “A” factory American style floral scroll and punch dot background engraving. The grip frame is marked “COLT ENG.” The back of both grip panels are hand marked “C-26/ADE/INDIA.” Fitted with smooth grips with gold Colt medallions. Includes reproduction Colt “wood grain” box and leatherette case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus of original blue and casehardened finishes with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case is fine.
