Outstanding Special Order Winchester Deluxe Model 1885 High Wall Takedown Schuetzen Rifle with Winchester A5 Scope - Serial no. 113537, 32-40 WCF cal., 30 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1913, this is an outstanding example of a special order deluxe Winchester Model 1885 rifle in takedown Schuetzen configuration. The caliber marking is offset on the upper left flat of the barrel at the breech and repeated on the bottom along with various proofs under
the forearm, and the “4” barrel weight marking just in front of the forearm. There is a Winchester factory
oval proof on top of the receiver. The upper tang has the three-line patent and trademark information, and the lower tang is marked with the serial number.
