manual safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend and straight grip stock with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Includes a second matching numbered set of 28 inch 20 gauge barrels with chokes marked full/modified and 3 inch chambers with
automatic ejectors. Barrel measurements for the 28 inch set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .615/.616 inches; choke constriction .023/.010 inches; minimum wall thickness .027/.029 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the primary set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .616/.615 inches; choke constriction .002(jug)/.008 inches; minimum wall thickness .022/.026 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 13 15/16 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 6 lbs. 6 oz. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 95% plus refinished blue finish, some loss on the fences, plum coloration on the floorplate and forend shoe, and overall light handling evidence. The forend is cracked from the release to the shoe, and the buttstock is a replacement; otherwise, the wood is very fine with a few light scratches and crisp checkering. The extra barrel set is very fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

“LC” Signed, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 63702, 410 gauge, 26 inch vent rib bbl., blue/ gold finish, fancy checkered walnut stock. Manufactured
in 1947 and subsequently upgraded to its current configuration.
Blued barrel with dual gold bead sights on the matted solid rib, chamber marked 3 inches, choke
marked full, and wedges of scroll engraving at either side of the breech. The blued receiver displays highly attractive floral scroll engraving with gold borders surrounding a pair of hunting scenes depicting a
hunter and his dog having just flushed a covey of quail on the left and a hunter with a covey of quail on the right as well. The scenes are all cut in semi-relief gold inlay, and the work is signed “LC” on the left. Highly figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with factory grip cap and buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 11/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 8 oz. CONDITION: Very fine overall as custom embellished/upgraded to the current configuration, retaining 99% blue and gold finishes with minor handling evidence, slightly loose stock, and sharp checkering on the forend and stock. Ogawa Signed Game Panel Scene Relief Engraved and Silver Inlaid Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun - Serial no. 1317171, 12 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue/silver finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1950 and subsequently custom embellished/ upgraded to the current configuration by Japanese Master Engraver
Shiro Ogawa. Single white bead sight on the matted solid rib, 1 1/2 inch wedges of scroll at the muzzle, 2 3/4 inch wedges of scroll at the breech, scroll engraving on the receiver extension, choke marked “FULL”, and a 3 inch
chamber. The receiver is covered with deep relief cut scrollwork over a matted background surrounding a trio of
silver relief inlaid geese in flight over a field on the left and a trio of relief inlaid silver mallards landing on a pond on the right. The gun is signed by port “OGAWA”. Beautifully figured, fleur-de-lis checkered forend and pistol grip stock with blued steel grip cap and Winchester rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 11 oz. CONDITION: Very fine as custom embellished by Shiro Ogawa, retaining 99% blue and silver finishes with minor handling evidence, plum coloration on the slide release, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
