Lever Action Rifle in .475 Turnbull - Serial no. 86TMCZW181, 475
Turnbull cal., 26 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Introduced in 2006 as a high quality, faithful reproduction of the legendary Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle. Features a blued octagon barrel fitted with dovetailed white bead front and
elevation adjustable notched rear sights, marked with the Turnbull
Mfg. Co. address in two line ahead of the rear sight on the top flat. The
casehardened receiver is unmarked apart from the serial number on
the bottom and “TURNBULL” marked on the upper tang. Mounted with
finely figured multi-point checkered forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with a black rubber “Decelerator” recoil pad. Includes a copper collection tag numbered “0004” hanging on the lever handle.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% of original blue and casehardened finishes with light handling marks, manipulation wear on the magazine tube, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Includes a trunk style case that holds both rifles, and a copy of “African Game
Trails”, written by Theodore Roosevelt, edited by Peter Capstick. CONDITION: Excellent overall retaining 99% plus original blue finish with minor handling marks and crisp stock checkering.
Mechanically excellent. Case trunk is very good with minor scuffing on the exterior.
