Cased Lucien Ernst Signed Engraved Belgian Browning Centenary Edition High-Power Semi- Automatic Pistol with Commemorative Case - Serial no. 245CENT085, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., satin nickel finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1989 as one of only 100 with half sold in the U.S. Engraved by Master Engraver Lucien Ernst, who signed the left side of the trigger guard “L. ERNST”. Bottom of trigger guard marked “085/100” Complete with a “Centenary Edition” leather hard case with two keys and cleaning rod. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original finish with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine. Estimate: 4,500 - 6,500

Browning Renaissance Model
1971 Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 74N26737, 380
ACP cal., 4 1/2 inch round bbl., French grey finish, walnut grips.
Manufactured in 1974. Features serrated ramped blade front
and adjustable rear sights with the two line address on the left
side of the slide and Liege proofs on the bottom of the slide and barrel. With
90% coverage of vine and floral scroll engraving that extends to both sides of the frame and slide, trigger guard, grip safety and grip straps. Fitted with a gold wash trigger and walnut checkered grips.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original French grey finish with light handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Marvin L. Cole Collection.

Scarce Factory Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning
Gold-Line Challenger Semi Automatic Pistol -
Serial no. 17303U2, 22 LR cal., 6 3/4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut stock. Introduced in 1962, this is one of only
147 Gold Line Challenger pistols manufactured with a 4 1/2
inch barrel. It has standard markings on each side of the barrel and Liege
proofs on the bottom, and the serial number is on the front grip strap. The
barrel, slide, and frame have been factory embellished with gold inlaid borders.
Fitted with blade and adjustable notch rear sights, and a checkered wraparound
walnut grip.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with some
light spotting at the muzzle light handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Marvin L. Cole Collection.

High-Power Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
T229069, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., French
grey finish, simulated pearl grips. Manufactured in 1968. This pistol
features fixed blade and notch sights with standard markings and Belgian proofs.
It has full coverage “Type IV” factory engravings, also known as “Renaissance grade”
leafy scroll engraving. All visible serial numbers match. Includes an extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 98% original French grey finish with minor surface evidence of handling and usage and 97% original gold wash on trigger. Mechanically excellent.
