Fine Antique Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle in Desirable .45-70 WCF - Serial no. 53002, 45-70 WCF cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1891 with a casehardened receiver, as was standard on the Model 1886 until 1902. The standard two-line address and caliber are marked on top of the barrel. The model designation is marked on the upper tang and the two-line patent dates and serial number are on the lower tang. It is fitted with German silver blade front and elevation
adjustable notch rear sights. It’s mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with some light muzzle wear and handling marks, and 40% of the vibrant original case colors with the balance a brown speckled
silver grey patina. The lightly sanded and refinished wood has a few stabilized hairline cracks in the left of the forearm and some scatte
Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine - Serial no. 89676, 30 WCF cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This early production Winchester Model 1894 carbine was manufactured in 1900 and features a pinned beaded blade front sight, folding ladder rear sight graduated to 200 yards, smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock and crescent buttplate. The top of the barrel is stamped with the two line address ahead of the rear sight and “30 WCF” at the breech. The left side of the barrel has the two line nickel steel barrel marking. The upper tang has the three line model and 1894 patent date marking, and the serial number is on the underside of the frame. CONDITION: Fine. The carbine retains 60% original blue finish thinning to a brown. There are a few patches of minor pitting. The re-varnished wood is very good with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. LOT 1044 Antique Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle in Desirable .22 Short Caliber - Serial no. 473559B, 22 short cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1894 as a Third Model with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with serrations at the rear. Winchester only manufactured approximately 19,552 Model 1873s in .22 short or .22 long between 1884 and 1904. The octagon barrel is marked with the two-line address/King’s patent marking on the upper flat and “22 SHORT” at the breech. The bottom of the cartridge elevator is marked “22 CAL./SHORT.” The upper tang is marked with the model designation and the serial number is on the lower tang. It is fitted with a German silver blade front sight and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% plus of the original blue finish and faint traces of the original case colors with the balance a smooth grey or plum brown patina and a few scattered patches of light pitting. The re-oiled wood is very good with a few scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

Documented Special Order Winchester Deluxe Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter - Serial no. 68400, 38-56 WCF cal., 26 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. The accompanying factory letter states the rifle was received in the warehouse on July 6, 1892 and shipped the same day with an octagon barrel in 38-56 caliber, plain trigger, checkered pistol grip stock, and Lyman sights. The rifle is fitted with a dovetail blade front sight, elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight, and folding tang
peep sight. The top barrel flat is stamped with the two-line Winchester New Haven address ahead of
the rear sight and “38-56 WCF” at the breech. The receiver has the desirable casehardened finish. The lower tang has the patent dates marking and
serial number. The deluxe XX walnut forearm and pistol grip stock feature “H” style checkering. The pistol grip has an ebony insert. The buttstock has a crescent buttplate. The left side of the lower tang is marked “239 XX.” The assembly number “239” is repeated on the stock inlet and buttstock.
CONDITION: Very good. The barrel and magazine retain 40% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance. 60% original blue finish remains on the bolt. Patterns of muted original case colors remain on the frame. The wood is also very good with a chip at the upper tang, a number of
dings and scratches, and some blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 6,500 - 9,500
