Outstanding Winchester Model 1906 Slide Action Rimfire Rifle - Serial no. 115594B, 22 S L LR cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, gumwood stock. Manufactured in 1909. Features dovetailed blade front and adjustable notched tangent rear sight. Standard marking and features. “WP” proofs on receiver ring and chamber. Fitted with smooth gumwood forearm and smooth straight grip stock with checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% of bright original blue finish with light slide retraction marks and a few spotting marks on the magazine tube and receiver. Mechanically excellent. LOT 1080 Winchester Model 63 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Box - Serial no. 109507, 22 LR cal., 23 1/8 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1952. Features bead in blade front and elevation adjustable notched tangent rear sights, standard barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, and matching serial numbers on the receiver and barrel assembly. Fitted with Smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. Includes original box, manual, and hang tag. Manufactured in 1964, the last recorded year of production. Features beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, and matching serial numbers on the upper and lower receiver groups. Fitted with a flat bottom grooved walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. Includes correct period replacement box, manual, and hang tag. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% of original blue finish with minimal handling marks and sight spotting on the inside of the lower receiver. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good. Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle in Scarce .22 LR for Shot Only Caliber - Serial no. 139335, 22 LR Shot cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1950. Single nickel
bead sight on the Winchester counterbored smooth bore barrel which bears standard markings with the desirable
“22 L.RIFLE/FOR SHOT ONLY” stamping. Winchester “WP” proofs on barrel and receiver at the breech, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard
assembly, smooth trigger, serrated hammer catch, and non-drilled upper tang. Plain figured, 17-groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish with light handling evidence, some rubbing on the
receiver above the ejection port, and minor oxidation at the muzzle. Two non-factory tapped holes in the top of the receiver with filler screws. The wood is very good with a few dings and scratches and some varnish loss in areas. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Marvin L. Cole Collection. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750
LOT 1083 Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Gallery Style Rifle in .22 Short - Serial no. 82189, 22 S cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1947 (and subsequently upgraded), the only year that this configuration, round barrel and .22 short only, was offered according to “Winchester Slide Action Rifles: Volume II” by Ned Schwing. Blued barrel with beaded blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, and standard Winchester markings, including the all important “22 SHORT”. The
receiver is blued and shows the Winchester “WP” proof as well as the non-factory added red filled “WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK” roll stamp on the left side. Lightly figured 17-groove forend and pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 98% professionally restored blue finish with subsequent minor handling evidence mostly on the left of the receiver. The wood shows a 2 inch scratch in the left of the wrist; otherwise, it
is very fine with a few minor marks. Mechanically excellent.
