London Agency Cased Early Production Colt Open Top Pocket Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 4629, 22 RF cal., 2 3/8 inch round bbl., blue/ silver finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1872, the second year of production. The top of the barrel has the two-line address flanked by Maltese crosses and matching numbers on the barrel and butt. The smooth walnut grips have “2080” inked inside each panel. It has standard features. Includes an oak case with Colt London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, oiler, some .22 RF cartridges, and key. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth brown patina, primarily on the cylinder. 70% of the attractively aged original silver finish remains with the balance having thinned to an attractively aged brass. The grips are excellent with only the slightest wear/handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The
    case is very fine with some light handling/storage wear.

Exceptional London Agency Cased, Factory Engraved Colt Third Model “Thuer” Derringer - Serial no. 26071, 41 cal., 2 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel finish, antique ivory grips. These derringers were introduced in 1870 and totaled around 48,000 produced. This derringer has gorgeous factory quality engraving on over half of the metal surfaces consisting mainly of highly detailed scrollwork as well as an ornate zig-zag band around the muzzle. The top of the barrel has a rounded blade front sight and “COLT” in large italic letters and the bottom of the barrel has small British proofs. The matching serial number is marked on the left of the grip frame where it is flanked by “E” factory engraving markings, the bottom of the barrel, and inside the right grip in ink. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of smooth antique ivory grips. Includes an oak presentation case with Colt London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, key, and some .41 RF cartridges. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains 95% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered light flaking mostly in/around the engraving on the barrel, and the engraving crisp overall. The slightly undersize grips are also very fine with a few short hairline age cracks and an attractively aged tone. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some light handling/storage wear.
