World War II U.S. Property
Marked Colt First Series
Woodsman Match Target Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. MT16389, 22 LR cal., 6 1/2 inch slab
sided bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1944, this is one of
approximately only 4,000 Colt Woodsman Match Target pistols produced
for the U.S. military during World War II. Features fixed blade front and fully adjustable notched rear sights, with the “MATCH/(bullseye)/TARGET” marking on the left rear of the barrel, the slide marked “COLT” next to the caliber markings and Rampant Colt, and “THE WOODSMAN/U.S. PROPERTY” on the left side of the frame. The trigger guard is marked “e/ VP”, the “MT” serial number down the front strap, and
checkered plastic extended grips.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 90% plus of
original blue finish with light handling marks, edge
wear, scattered specks of dark surface oxidation on the
grip straps, and crisp checkering on the excellent grips.
Mechanically excellent.

Army Colt Model 1917
Double Action Revolver with Holster - Serial no. 284604, 45 ACP cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1918, with fixed
sights. The frame and crane are numbered on the inside sections “284604.” The
bottom of the grip frame is marked “U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917” and “No/131/393”. Includes a U.S. leather holster marked “G&K/1917” on the back.

U.S. Marked High Standard Model 102 Supermatic Tournament Semi- Automatic Pistol Rig with Holster
and Accessories - Serial no. 973227,
22 LR cal., 6 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured between 1958 and 1965. The left
side of the frame is marked “U.S.” below “SUPERMATIC/TOURNAMENT,” along with the number “16”
stamped into the back side of the frame, but otherwise has standard markings. Features a fixed blade front and adjustable notch rear sight. Includes a “US” marked “El PASO SADDLERY Co.” brown leather
holster, brown leather belt with
“U.S.” marked buckle, brown
leather dual magazine pouch, and two spare magazines.
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 60% much faded original blue finish, with minor edge wear, scattered light pitting, and plum brown patina. The brown plastic grip panels are also fine, with minor chips and handling marks, retaining crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The rig is very fine. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned mostly to a smooth plum brown or grey patina. The grips are very fine with some light wear and a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is good with extensive wear. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250

U.S. Remington-Rand Model 1911A1
National Match Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 1022153, 45 ACP cal., 5
inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut grips. Originally produced
by Remington-Rand in 1943, this pistol was subsequently selected
for upgrade to a National Match competition-grade pistol. The left of
the slide has the standard Remington-Rand markings while the right is partially numbered to the gun with “2153”. Serrated Patridge blade front sight and adjustable rear sight, “7267718/NM” bushing, full blued barrel marked “.45 AUTO/NM 7790313” and numbered to the gun on the chamber hood, and an “FJA” inspected frame with “SA”, “P”, and “NM” stamps. Equipped with a long serrated adjustable trigger, checkered narrow hammer, checkered front strap, arched
serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop, checkered walnut grips, and a full blue magazine with “COLT/.45 AUTO” marked base plate. CONDITION: Very fine as Springfield Arsenal upgraded to National Match configuration, retaining 95% plus of the parkerized finish with some very light edge wear and very light slide retraction marks. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light blemishes in the otherwise crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Model 1917 Double Action Revolver -
Serial no. 169771, 45 ACP cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1918, with
fixed sights. The frame and crane are numbered on
the inside sections “169771.” The bottom of the grip frame is
marked “U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917” and “No/20/029.”
CONDITION: Very fine, with 75% of the original blued finish retained,
along with some holster wear on the sides of the barrel and patina focused around the grip frame. The walnut grips are fine, with some light handling marks and minor dents near the bottom, and a filled in chip on the left side panel. Mechanically excellent.

U.S. World War II Remington-Rand Model 1911A1
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 1531498, 45 ACP
cal., 5 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1943, at
the height of World War II, this is an early production example of a Remington-
Rand 1911A1. The left side of the slide is marked with the correct style two-line
“REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE,
N.Y.U.S.A.” address and a “P” on top. The left
side of the frame has the “FJA” inspection
mark and “P” below the magazine release.
The standard U.S. property, serial number,
and model designation are marked on the
right side. The full blue barrel is marked “P”
and “HS” on either side of the lug. It is fitted
with blade and notch sights, serrated slide
release, checkered thumb safety and narrow hammer, short stamped trigger, serrated mainspring housing, checkered Keyes Fibre grips, and an unmarked full-blue magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus of the original parkerized finish with some faint thinning on the grip straps and some light edge wear. The grips are excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
