Factory Letter - Serial no. 182B, 45-70 Government cal., 28 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Modern reproduction of a Sharps Model 1877 rifle. Features German silver blade front with elevation adjustable notch and ladder rear sight, along with double set triggers. Barrel marked “CALIBRE 45 2 1/10.” Includes factory letter confirming model, caliber, stock material, and barrel length with a delivery date of March 1999 along with Axtell product booklet and original test fire target. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 99% plus of the original blue and casehardened finish and limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

096L, 45-70 Government cal., 30 inch octagon bbl., blue/brown/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Modern reproduction of a Sharps Model 1877 rifle. Features globe front with spirit level and tang mounted long range peep sights, along with double set triggers, checkered walnut forearm and buttstock. Barrel marked “CALIBRE 45” on top and “2 1/10” on the left side. Includes Axtell product sheet. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus of the original brown and casehardened finishes, with limited handling marks, spotting on the front sight, and crisp forearm and stock checkering. Serial no. LS0260, 22 hornet cal., 26 1/2 inch part octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Features a beaded blade front sight, tang peep sight, and MVA 6x scope in Weaver mounts. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish, with limited minor handling marks. Optics are clear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,500
LOT 3524 University of Montana Marked Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874 Single Shot Falling Block Rifle - Serial no. M004, 45-70 Government cal., 30 inch octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in Big Timber, Montana. The barrel is fitted with globe spirit gauge front sight and semi-buckhorn folding ladder rear sight with “Old Reliable” ahead of the rear sight, “UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA” on the left flat, and “CALIBRE 45 2 1/10” behind it. The casehardened receiver bears the Shiloh address on the left side and is fitted with double set triggers, and adjustable folding ladder peep sight fitted on the top tang and has an engraved scene of two bears on the lockplate. Mounted in a well-figured checkered walnut Schnabel tip forend and semi-pistol grip stock with shadowline cheekpiece and checkered plastic buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% of original blue and casehardened finishes with light edge wear, handling marks and scratches. Crisp checkering on the stock. Mechanically excellent. Cased Engraved Ruger No. 1 Lyman Centennial Commemorative Single Shot Rifle with Scope and Accessories - Serial no. 131-45193, 45-70 Government cal., 28 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1979, with standard markings and features. Includes a hardwood display case, Lyman Centennial Century Model scope with screw-on caps, Lyman commemorative medallion, bullet mold, loading tools, cleaning rod, 20 count box of .45-70 unprimed casings, generic hard case, and “Lyman Centennial Journal.” CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 99% of the original blue finish retained with slight spotting on the right edge of the buttplate, a few handling marks mostly on the wood, and crisp stock checkering. Scope has some scratches behind the rear ring and clear optics. The case is fine. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250
