Excellent Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle in Desirable .22 W.R.F. - Serial no. 321625, 22 WRF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1907. Fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight, a Lyman two leaf rear sight, and a folding tang peep sight. “W.R.F.” is stamped on the front face of the receiver. The top barrel flat has the two-line Winchester legend followed by “-MOD. 1890-” as well as “22 W.R.F.” at the breech. It is mounted with a 12-groove slide handle and a smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with mild cycling wear, thinning to brown on the balance and a few scattered small specks of light pitting on the barrel. The wood is also excellent with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

LOT 3069 Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle with Box - Serial no. 275393, 22 S L LR cal., 23 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1960. Features bead in blade front and elevation adjustable notched tangent rear sights, standard barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, matching serial numbers on the barrel assembly and receiver. Fitted with smooth pistol grip stock and round, flat bottom grooved forearm with checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. Includes correct period replacement box, manual, and hang tag. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% of original blue finish with light handling marks and cycling wear. Stock is very fine with oxidation on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Manufactured in 1948. Features bead in blade front and elevation adjustable notch tangent rear sights, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, standard markings, and matching numbers on the upper receiver and lower tang. Fitted with smooth straight stock with checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. Includes correct period replacement box, manual, and hang tag. LOT 3071 Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Gallery Style Rifle in .22 Short - Serial no. 81458, 22 short cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1947 (and subsequently upgraded), the only year that this configuration, round barrel and .22 short only, was offered according to “Winchester Slide Action Rifles: Volume II” by Ned Schwing. Blued barrel with beaded blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, and standard Winchester markings, including the all important “22 SHORT”. The receiver is blued and shows the Winchester “WP” proof as well as
the non-factory added “WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK” roll stamp on the left side. Lightly figured
17-groove forend and pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 99% professionally restored blue finish with minor
subsequent handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.
LOT 3072 Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle in .22 W.R.F - Serial no. 304015, 22 WMR cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1960 in desirable .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire. Winchester factory oval proofs as well as Italian proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver. The front of the frame is marked with the number “5.” It is fitted with a dovetail blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. Mounted on a 17-groove flat bottom forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber factory buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish with some minor cycling wear. The wood is also
excellent with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
