Scarce Winchester Model 53 Lever Action Rifle in .25-20 W.C.F. -
Serial no. 9057, 25-20 WCF cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. With only 24,916 produced, the Winchester Model 53 is relatively much scarcer than most of their other lever action models. Manufactured in 1926 with standard markings, including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight, folding leaf notch rear sight, and a tang mounted peep sight. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a serrated shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina, most noticeably around the takedown collar. The wood is also very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 4,750

Outstanding Pre- 64 Winchester Model 94 Lever Action Carbine with Original Box - Serial
no. 2517152, 30-30 Win cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1962. Hooded ramp front sight and elevation adjustable notch rear sight on a
barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on top of the barrel
and receiver at the breech. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight
grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. Includes the original box. CONDITION: Near new, retains 99% plus of the original finish with only the slightest
handling marks. The wood is also near new with a few scattered extremely light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some mild wear. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250
LOT 3065 Desirable Winchester Model 65 Lever Action Rifle in .218 Bee Caliber - Serial no. 1005373, 218 bee cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Only approximately 5,704 Model 65 rifles were manufactured between 1933 and 1947.
Few were manufactured in .218 Bee after it was introduced into the line in 1937-39. This example has the standard markings with a ramped hooded beaded blade front sight, a rear sight filler block, and a bolt mounted adjustable peep sight. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine. The rifle retains 90% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown and some scattered light scratches overall. The buttplate is a mixture of original blue finish and smooth
brown-gray patina. The wood is very fine with some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,750 - 4,250
LOT 3066 Winchester Deluxe Model 71 Lever Action Rifle - Serial no. 39366, 348 Win cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1954 with standard markings, including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with ramped and hooded blade front sight, filler in the rear sight dovetail, and Lyman peep sight mounted on the left of the receiver. Sling swivel studs are mounted on the forend cap and stock. Mounted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered very light handling marks. The wood is very fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500 LOT 3067 Winchester Model 64 Lever Action Rifle in Scarce .219 Zipper - Serial no. 1377711, 219 zipper cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1946. Hooded ramp front sight, filler block in rear sight dovetail, two non-factory installed scope blocks on the barrel, Winchester factory proof on the barrel and receiver, and bolt mounted peep sight. Lightly figured, non-factory multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with added rear sling swivel, forward magazine tube swivel added, and checkered blued steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 85% original blue finish, some thinning along the barrel, a few dings on the left of the action, and some minor scattered spotting. The wood is very good with some small dings and scratches, a crack at the heel, and sharp custom non-factory checkering. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Marvin L. Cole Collection.
