Oscar Granetti Master Engraved Piotti Hand Detachable Sidelock Over/ Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 9474, 12 gauge, 29 inch vent rib bbl., blue/
casehardened finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with a single steel bead sight on the
matted vent rib, “FLLI PIOTTI ITALY” marked on the left of the upper barrel, 1998 dated Italian proofs, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The casehardened hand detachable sidelock action displays beautiful deeply cut scrolling grape vine
designs intertwining with one another, both bright polished and nitre blue pins in the locks, and gold inlaid “F.LLI PIOTTI” on the underside. The
engraving continues onto the toplever, both tangs, and the trigger guard with the signature “GRANETTI” to the right of the trigger for Italian Master Engraver Oscar Granetti. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted manual safety switch with gold inlaid “S”. Highly figured, multi-point checkered forend with matching engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with leather wrapped
recoil pad. Includes a leather bound takedown case, nickel oiler, cleaning tools, and two nickel snap caps. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved and measured at 18.5mm (.728 inches); choke constriction .011/.019 inches; minimum wall thickness .032/.031 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 5/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and casehardened finishes, limited minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is excellent. Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Perazzi Model MX2000 Single Barrel Trap Shotgun with Extra Barrel Set and Case - Serial no. 116382, 12 gauge, 33 7/8 inch vent rib bbl., blue/gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 2001. Steel mid- bead and white front bead on the adjustable matted raised rib, choke marked as improved modified, and 70 mm (2 3/4 inch) chamber with automatic ejector. The blued receiver features fine scroll engraving with floral designs surrounding gold inlaid “Perazzi MX2000” on either side. The gun features a single selective gold
trigger and manual tang mounted safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forend and pistol grip stock with adjustable comb, toe, and heel and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Includes an extra non-matching set of 31 1/2 inch MX10 over/under barrels which fit the action and feature a raised adjustable vent rib and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. Also included is a factory takedown case, extra trigger group, and a single snap cap. Barrel measurements for the extra set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved
at 18.7mm (.736 inches) and measured .743/.742 inches; choke constriction .018/.029 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.029 inches. Barrel and stock measurements for the single barrel: bore diameter nine inches from the breech proved at 18.4mm (.724 inches) and measured .725 inches; choke constriction .033 inches; minimum wall thickness .059 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4
inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 9 lbs 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and gold finishes, limited handling evidence, and a plum coloration to the underside of the action. The wood is very fine with scattered minor dings and scratches and sharp checkering. The extra barrel set is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
