The gun features gold plated double triggers and a nitre blue tang mounted manual safety switch. The final piece of this
masterwork is the exhibition grade walnut stock and forend, both of which show the same absolutely fantastic floral scroll
carving with gold inlays and gold bordered fleur-de-lis checkering. The splinter forend also shows gold washed and engraved fittings
to match the action as well as gold inlaid “GALAZAN” on the shoe. The straight grip stock really shows off the incredible figure of the wood and has the gold inlaid floral carving on the flats and matching gold washed and engraved toe and heel plates above and below the checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both measure .557 inches; choke constriction .014/027 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 7/16 inch drop at heel; 14 5/8 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs 9 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue, coin, and gold finishes with minimal handling evidence, and sharp checkering and carving on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. This is a rare opportunity to own a true masterwork of modern engraving!
