Colt M16 Selective Fire
Rifle, Class III/NFA Fully
Transferable Machine Gun
- Serial no. 9042235, 5.56 cal., 19 1/2 inch round bbl., matte black phosphate finish, synthetic stock. This is an example of
    a very desirable original Colt Firearms Division commercially manufactured fully automatic M16 rifle from the 9 million serial number range. Adjustable pin front and two-leaf windage adjustable rear sights, with a non-factory replacement PGRS1 muzzle brake on the “C MP CHROME BORE” marked barrel, bayonet lug, triangular handguard, low-profile casing deflector and oval forward assist on the upper receiver. The lower receiver has a “fenced” magazine catch and a three
position right handed “SAFE”/”SEMI”/”AUTO” selector. The full auto bolt carrier is “C” marked with proper serrations and an “MPC” marked bolt head, and a one piece buffer is installed. Fitted with a checkered pistol grip and a fixed buttstock with “16” marked on the left side of the buttplate, possibly an inventory/rack number.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus original matte black phosphate finish, showing a touched up area near the bolt catch, a pattern of wear on the barrel consistent with the use of a clamp-on silencer or similar device, and mild handling marks overall. The furniture is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.

Plainfield Machine M2 Automatic Carbine, Class III/
NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun, with Accessories - Serial no. 771A, 30
M1 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood stock. Manufactured using a new-made receiver
and a combination of commercial and military components, this is a fully transferable commercial version
of the U.S. M2 automatic carbine. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with “PLAINFIELD MACHINE/
DUNELLEN N.J./CAL. 30 M-2” on the front receiver ring, ventilated steel handguard, and an unmarked “perch
belly” profile stock. The trigger housing is “S’G’” marked, with a “P” flip safety, unmarked M2 magazine catch and operating rod, and an Underwood bolt. Included with the
lot is a green canvas case, green canvas sling, two green canvas magazine pouches and an extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing some wear on the high edges, cycling/handling marks, and some minor spotting. The otherwise very fine stock has a
crack in the forearm just ahead of the operating rod cut, chipping at the recoil plate, and mild scuffs and dents overall. The canvas accessories are in fine order. Mechanically excellent.
