Rare Briley Trans Pecos Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle -
Serial no. 00120, 22-250 cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue/stainless finish, walnut stock. Designed by Briley as a mix of aesthetics and functionality, the Trans Pecos set out to be the best looking bench rest rifle with Sub-MOA accuracy out of the box. The design is built around the aluminum bed which the action mounts to. This allows for the barrel to be free floated while still employing pleasing wood. The heavy barrel is marked with makers markings on top and caliber on the right of the chamber. The left side of the action is marked “BRILEY TRANS PECOS”. Mounted in the previously mentioned aluminum bed and beavertail walnut forearm and Monte Carlo buttstock. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with minimal handling marks and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000
LOT 1669 Miller Arms Falling Block Rifle - Serial no. 259, 225 Win cal., 28 1/4 inch compensated heavy octagon bbl., blue/satin finish, walnut stock. Manufactured by the Miller Arms Co. St. Onge, South Dakota. Fitted
with a compensated heavy octagon barrel without sights marked “CD MILLER” on top and “225 WIN” on the left. Two scope rings on a dovetail section are mounted on the barrel. The blued action is marked “MILLER ARMS” and “ST. ONGE S.D.” Mounted in a beautifully figured multipoint figured walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with blued steel grip cap and Pachmayr recoil pad. CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with some light spotting and edge wear on the lever, a series of handling marks around the sling swivel studs and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000

Serial no. SS0414, 221 Fireball cal., 23 1/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Fitted with ramped beaded blade front and single leaf express rear sights on the barrel with quarter rib, and central barrel band with sling eye. The action is marked with the Dakota Arms markings on the bottom in front of the lever and the serial number under the lever, and topped off with a Leupold Vari-X 3x9 E.F.R. scope. Mounted in an exceptionally figured multipoint checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with blued skeleton grip cap and buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics and a crisp reticle. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000
