Cased London Agency Shipped Colt Open Top Pocket Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 77162, 22 RF cal., 2 3/8 inch round bbl., nickel/ silver finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1875. The barrel has the two-line address flanked by Maltese crosses, British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and cylinder, and matching numbers on the barrel, butt, and penciled inside each grip panel. Includes a hardwood case with London Armoury interior label, screwdriver, oiler, cleaning rod, brush, key, and eighteen .22 RF cartridges. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95% plus of the original nickel finish on the barrel and 40% of the attractively aged silver plating on the frame with the balance mostly an attractively aged brass. The grips are also very fine with some light wear and few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some scattered minor handling/ storage evidence. Cased London Shipped Colt Etched Panel
New Line .41 Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial
no. 8281, 41 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/
casehardened finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
1877 with “COLT NEW 41” in an etched panel on
the left of the barrel and British proofs on the
bottom of the barrel and cylinder. The barrel is
numbered “8070” and the rear of the cylinder
numbered “864”. Includes an oak presentation
case with Colt London Agency interior label,
cleaning rod, key, and ten .41 CF cartridges.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 60% plus of the original
blue and 50% of the original casehardened
finishes with the balance having thinned mostly
to a smooth grey patina and a few scattered patches of light pitting. The grips are also fine with numerous minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with a few minor cracks and separations and generally mild handling/ storage wear.

Cased London Agency Shipped Colt Second Model Single Shot Derringer - Serial no. 7882, 41 CF cal., 2 1/2 inch irregular bbl., bright finish, walnut grips. Manufactured from 1870-1890 with factory engraved flourishes of floral scroll on both sides of the frame. There are British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and matching serial numbers on the bottom of the barrel and butt. The grips could not be removed at the time of writing, but appear original. Includes a hardwood case with Colt London Agency interior label, a cleaning rod, key, and a .41 CF cartridge.
CONDITION: Very good, showing primarily bright
grey patina with some faint patterns visible on
the barrel and all of the markings and engraving
crisp. The grips are very fine with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with mild handling/storage wear.

Colt London Retailer Cased
Etched Panel New House Model
Revolver - Serial no. 18214, 38
Colt cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl.,
nickel finish, rosewood grips.
Manufactured in 1884. The barrel a
clear “COLT HOUSE 38” in an etched
panel on the left side. British proof
marks are stamped on the barrel
and at each cylinder flute. Both
varnished rosewood grip panels
are numbered “16175.” The leather
bound case features a Colt, Pall Mall,
London, retailer label on the interior
and contains a James Dixon & Sons
oiler, two case keys, a screwdriver,
a cleaning rod, and five .380 Eley
cartridges.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 90%
plus original nickel plating with some loss
at the muzzle and cylinder towards the front. The
etch panel is crisp. The grips are also excellent with
limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case
is fine with minor handling/storage marks on the leather, some typical high spot wear on the lining, and spotting on the nearly complete Colt London label.

London Agency Cased Pair of Engraved Colt Third Model “Thuer” Derringers -
A) Colt Third Model
Deringer - Serial
no. 10725, 41 RF cal.,
2 1/2 inch round
bbl., nickel finish,
hardwood grips.
Manufacturing
began in 1870. This
pair are both of the
early Second Type,
featuring the short
high hammers and
serial numbers only
20 digits apart. They feature matching, beautifully executed floral
scroll engraving that covers more than 75% of the metal surfaces.
Both have the standard italic Colt marking on top of the barrel
and small British proofs on the bottom, with the serial numbers
marked on the left side of the grip frames. Both grips on “B” are
hand numbered to match the pistol, and the right grip on “A” is
numbered to gun. Includes a hardwood case with Colt London Agency label on the interior, which also has an untranslated hand marking that may be written in Bengali, which may hint at shipment to India via London. Also included in the case is a key, two dummy .41 RF cartridges, and a cleaning rod.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus of the retailer applied nickel finish with some scattered light handling marks and crisp engraving overall. The grips are very good with some scattered light handling marks and hairline crack in the bottom of the left panel. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some mild handling/storage wear and marks. B) Colt Third Model Derringer - Serial no. 10705, 41 RF cal., 2 1/2 inch round bbl., nickel finish, hardwood grips. See “A”.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 70% plus of the retailer applied nickel finish with the balance having mostly thinned to reveal an attractively aged brass and crisp engraving overall. The grips are very fine with a few scattered light handling marks and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.
