Smith & Wesson Model 27 Double Action Revolver with Desirable 3 1/2 Inch Barrel and Box - Serial no. S192295, 357 magnum cal., 3 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1959-60. Features serrated blade front and microclick rear sights with standard markings, and scarce 3 1/2 inch barrel. Includes proper box with added label. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish with limited handling marks, a cylinder drag line, and crisp checkering on
the refinished and altered grips. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.

CONDITION: Excellent overall,
marks, a faint cylinder drag line, red paint applied to front sight, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with limited storage and handling marks and some peeling on the edges of the lid. Estimate: 900 - 1,400

Manufactured in 1953. The revolver
features matching serial number
on the butt and right grip panel.
Includes Smith & Wesson red box and
screwdriver.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with limited
handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. Grips are very good with
crisp checkering and some scraps on the right grip panel. Mechanically
excellent. Cylinder latch extremely tight. Box is very fine with storage and
handling marks and some edge wear.

Wells Fargo & Co. Marked Smith &
Wesson 38 Military & Police Double Action Revolver -
Serial no. 496461, 38 S&W special cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in December, 1924 as one of 300 38 Military & Police
revolvers shipped to Baker Hamilton Co. in San Francisco, California. Features
standard markings as well as “W.F.& Co.” stamped on the butt next to the serial
number. Matching serial numbers found on the barrel, cylinder, butt, and right
grip panel. A Bill of Sale from Wells Fargo was included in Lot 2393 of our December, 2017 Premier
Auction lists this revolver as having been sold to Ellingsons Sport Center in California.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 85% original blue finish with scattered
handling marks, muzzle wear, high edge wear and two small patches of
oxidation on the cylinder. Grips are very fine with some scattered dings and
a few scratches on the butt and overall crisp grip checkering. Mechanically
excellent.

Cased Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum Pre-Model 29 Double Action Revolver - Serial no. S169326, 44 Magnum cal., 6 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1956/57. Matching serial number
on the frame and butt. Four-screw frame with ten- groove back strap. Includes a S&W .44 Magnum case, a screwdriver, and cleaning tools.
CONDITION: Very fine,
retaining 90% plus original
blue finish with scattered handling marks, spotting, and a cylinder drag line. Grips are fine with dings and scratches, a couple of hairline cracks. Mechanically excellent. Case is fine with corner separation and lid staining. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,250

walnut grips. Manufactured 1952-1953. Matching serial

barrel. Includes correct Smith & Wesson red box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus
original blue finish with a couple light handling
marks, a faint partial cylinder drag line, and crisp grip
checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine with
storage and handling marks.

no. 1469, 38 Special cal., 2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1950-1952. Matching
serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, barrel, and
right grip. Features serrated ramp front sight, “lemon
squeezer” safety, and serrated flat cylinder release.
Includes correct Smith & Wesson red box.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 90% original
blue finish with scattered handling marks, a cylinder drag
line, high edge wear, and dings and scratches on the grips.
Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine

& Wesson Prewar .38/44 Outdoorsman Double
Action Revolver with Pearl Steer Head Grips - Serial
no. 61598, 38 Special cal., 5 inch round bbl., nickel finish, pearl grips.
Manufactured in 1940. Fitted with blade front and target rear sights.
Matching serial numbers found on butt, cylinder, and barrel. Fitted with a
set of steer head grips with pink stones for eyes on the right panel.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% original nickel finish with handling marks,
some flaking at the muzzle, and a cylinder drag line. Both front and rear sight blades have been altered. Grips are very good with handling marks, a chip on the left panel at the toe, and slightly softened carving. Mechanically excellent.
