LOT 3702 Dakota Arms Miller Falling Block Rifle - Serial no. 0672, 220 Swift cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Fitted with a sightless barrel simply marked “220 Swift” on the chamber and mounted with sight bases and rings near the chamber. The blued action is marked “DAKOTA ARMS/STURGIS S.D.” on the bottom with the serial number and “MILLER” behind the trigger guard. Includes certificate of ownership and original test target. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,500 LOT 3703 Dakota Arms Model 76 Bolt Action Rifle with Swarovski Scope - Serial no. COOK-4, 240 WBY magnum cal., 23 1/2 inch ported round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Hooded ramped beaded blade front sight and two position (one standing, one folding) rear sight on the rear quarter rib on the blued barrel. The blued action is unadorned aside from the standard maker’s marks and personalized serial number and holds a set of scope rings mounted with a Swarovski Habricht 3-9x36mm scope. Nicely contrasting figured pistol grip stock with multi-point checkering, ebony forend cap, blued grip cap, and black rubber recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with an area of rubbing ahead of the barrel sling mount, slight spotting on the floorplate, and minor handling evidence. The stock is very fine with scattered handling marks, some wear to the recoil pad, and sharp checkering. Scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000
LOT 3704 Dakota Arms Little Sharps Single Shot Falling Block Rifle with Scope - Serial no. LS0092, 22 hornet cal., 24 inch heavy octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock. These Dakota Arms Little Sharps rifles are 80% the size of an original Model 74. Features a 24 inch crowned full octagon. The caliber is marked on the barrel, and the standard Dakota Arms markings are on the left side of the action. The barrel is drilled, tapped and mounted with blocks and scope mounts that are fully adjustable for windage and elevation and fitted with an MVA 6X scope. Mounted on a beautifully figured smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with casehardened buttplate and cartridge block cover.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
Scope is excellent with clear optics and a crisp reticle.
