Features fixed blade front and
notch rear sights, the model
designation flush gold inlaid
on the right side of the slide,
the serial number on the
right side of the frame with
the U.S. property marking
flush gold inlaid on the left
side, along with extensive
floral pattern scroll engraving
with 80% coverage across
the frame, slide, slide catch,
thumb safety, grip safety,
and mainspring housing,
separated with flush gold
inlaid edge lines and
borders. The top of the
slide displays a 24 karat
gold inlaid overhead
depiction of a F-14 Tomcat
fighter, zooming under
a platinum bordered
and gold inlay script
“GEN.H.NORMAN/
SCHWARZKOPF” banner
with platinum exhaust
lines, and gold inlaid script
“WEST POINT” and “1956”
banners surrounding a
24 karat gold inlaid West
Point Seal just ahead of
the rear sight. The left of the slide bears a silver inlaid border banner reading
“DUTY”, “HONOR”, and “COUNTRY” in gold script with a gold inlaid Rampant
Colt behind the serrations, a silver inlaid U.S. Army Master Parachutist badge
on the right side, and a gold inlaid “(star)/U S/(star)” on the underside. The
right rear of the frame displays a gold and platinum depiction of the U.S.
Army 23rd Infantry Division’s shoulder patch, with a silver inlaid U.S. Army
Combat Infantry badge on the underside of the dust cover, and “DESERT/
STROM” in gold inlaid lettering on the front grip strap with silver inlaid
bordering. A 24 karat gold inlaid map of South Vietnam is depicted on the
mainspring housing, with the lettering “So./Vietnam” and “Duc Co” in flush
gold inlays. “Dubbert ‘96” signed on front of trigger guard.
