Manufactured c. 1955-1959, one of
10,000 Fabrique National Model 1935
High-Power pistols ordered by Austria
in 1955 to equip the Gendarmerie
(police forces) and produced in a
specific serial number range, with this
example being the 135th. Importer
marked on the bottom of the grip
frame. Features fixed serrated blade front and notch rear sights, the Fabrique
Nationale address and Browning patent marking on the left of the slide, and an
Austrian Gendarmerie “L.G.K.T./0087” inventory number stamped on the front
strap. Matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel. Fitted with a
pair of checkered walnut grips with red painted interiors and a blued magazine
with matching an Austrian Gendarmerie “L.G.K.T./0087” inventory number
stamped on the base plate. Includes a World War II era German “dvr/42” code
and “eagle/(swastika)/WaA920” proofed leather flap holster with “P TODD”
scratched on the interior and backside, along with an extra blued magazine
with non-matching “L.G.K.T.” inventory numbered base plate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish with some light
holster pattern edge wear, smooth brown and grey patinas on the balance
of the slide and frame, minor freckling, minor handling marks, and clear
markings. The grips are also very fine with light rub wear to the defined
checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine.

Model PM Makarov Semi-Automatic
Pistol with Holster and Two Matching
Magazines - Serial no. HK5794, 9 mm
Makarov cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in
1962, the Makarov pistol was the primary
Soviet military and police sidearm
through the lion’s share of the Cold
War, as well as a popular export item to
Warsaw Pact-aligned and neutral nations.
This particular example is import marked
on the right side of the frame with the
country of origin noted as “Germany”;
East Germany did use both Soviet and
domestic made Makarovs, but also would
have been a major hub for American
soldiers, potentially including military
advisors returning from Vietnam. Blade
front and drift adjustable rear sights, with
matching numbers on the slide, frame,
safety and both of the included magazines
(one numbered “1” and the other numbered “2”), and “star” emblems
in the grips. Included with the pistol is a brown leather holster
marked “NVA” inside the flap (possibly indicating East German
National Volksarmee issue).
CONDITION: Excellent plus, with 98% plus original blue finish,
showing minor handling marks on the metal and grips. Mechanically
excellent. The holster is excellent.

Nationale Model 1935 High-Power
Semi-Automatic Pistol with Box - Serial
no. 39173, 9 mm cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured
between 1952 and 1964, this is an excellent
Fabrique Nationale Browning High Power
semi-automatic pistol, as manufactured for
export to West Germany and sale through
the “Silesia” firm in Hanover; many of these
pistols in the states are believed to have
been brought home by American servicemen
station in West Germany during the Cold War.
Fixed sights, with the three-line address and
patent markings on the left side of the slide,
“*/S” controller stamps, “SILESIA (inverted)”
in an arc on the left side of the triggerguard, matching numbers on the slide, barrel and frame, and checkered grips.
Includes a green leatherette FN box with extra magazine and instruction sheet.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% plus original blue finish, showing light scratches on the right side of the slide, dings
on the grip checkering, and minor handling overall. Mechanically excellent. Box is fair, numbered to another pistol,
with wear and tear concentrated on the edges.

National P.38 Commercial Semi-
Automatic Pistol with Box - Serial no.
5252, 9 mm Luger cal., 5 inch round bbl.,
blue/phosphate finish, plastic grips. Frame
manufactured c. 1945, and subsequently
built up shortly thereafter during the
post-war period, utilizing leftover wartime
components, for commercial sale. Features
fixed blade frame and notch rear sights,
wartime Walther “eagle/359” proofs on the
barrel and “ac 45” code slide, “eagle/140”
proof on the left of the frame, “MI” marked
on the left of the trigger guard, along with
phosphated small parts. Mixed numbered
on the barrel, and slide, with the locking
block un-numbered. Fitted with a pair of ribbed composite grips along with a dual “eagle/WaA706” proofed, dual “jvd”
coded, and “P38” marked blued magazine. Includes a Walther banner marked cardboard box with an imprinted image
of a P.38 pistol on the lid, numbered to a different pistol.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue and phosphate finishes on the frame with some limited
minor edge wear, a few minor handling marks, and clear markings. The grips are very fine with light handling marks.
Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with minor edge wear and warping to the lid.

Scarce Lithuanian Contract
Fabrique Nationale High
Power Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 1025, 9 mm cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured prior to the
outbreak of World War II, this is one of approximately 5,000
High Power pistols manufactured for a Lithuanian military contract. Blade
front and tangent rear sights, with the standard FN markings and proofs,
matching numbers on the slide, frame and barrel, checkered grips, and a
slotted backstrap. The distinctive “Columns of Gediminas” emblem is present on
the top of the slide, left side of the barrel, and the left side of the hammer.
CONDITION: Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown
and gray patina, bright edge wear, and mild spotting and handling marks. the
grips are very good, with scattered mild dings. Mechanically excellent.
