Excellent Swiss Military Waffenfabrik
Bern Model 06/24 Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 26224,
7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured in 1927, one of 1,250 Model 06/24 Luger pistols
(serial number range 25,771 to 27,020) produced that year by Waffenfabrik
Bern in Switzerland as discussed on page 49 of “The Swiss Variations” by Fred
Datig. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, a blank barrel extension top, the
manufacturer marking on top of the toggle link, a Swiss “cross/M” proof on the left of the barrel
extension with Swiss “cross” proofs on the right side of the frame, barrel, and barrel extension,
along with a “P” (indicating release from the Swiss government for private ownership) stamp on the
front of the trigger guard. Matching full serial numbers on the frame and barrel, along with matching
“24” and “224” partial serial numbers visible on small parts including the barrel extension. Fitted with
a pair of Swiss pattern smooth bordered and checkered walnut grips with matching “224” partial serial
number son the undersides and a nickel plated magazine with correct pattern non-matching
numbered hardwood base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus
original blue finish and nearly 90% original
straw colors with some limited edge wear,
a few minor specks of spotting/freckling,
a minor safety drag line, along with crisp and bright
markings and proofs. The grips are also excellent with a few minor handling marks and crisp
checkering. Mechanically excellent. Overall an attractive example of a Swiss Waffenfabrik Bern Model 06/24
Luger pistol!

Fine First Issue Unaltered Imperial
German DWM “1910” Date Model 1908 Military Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 5082c, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 inch round
bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1910, the first dated
year, by Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) under contract
for the Imperial German military, a first issue example without a stock lug
or breech block hold open device. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, the
“1910” date on top of the barrel extension, the “DWM” monogram marked on top of the
toggle link, “crown/Gothic letter” military proofs on the right side of the barrel extension, along
with imperial eagle firing proofs on the barrel, barrel extension, and breech block. Matching full
military pattern serial numbers on the frame, barrel, and barrel extension, along with matching “82”
partial serial numbers visible on small parts. Fitted with a pair of checkered walnut grips and a nickel
plated magazine with non-matching numbered walnut base.
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 70% plus original blue finish and 50% plus original straw colors with
minor edge wear, some minor pitting, minor freckling/
spotting, some thinning with smooth grey and brown
patinas on the balance, along with very strong and
bright markings and proofs. The grips are very fine
with light compression wear to the well-defined
checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable Persian Contract Mauser Model 1934 Artillery
Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - NSN, 9 mm cal., 7 7/8 inch round
bbl., blue/straw finish, checkered walnut grips. Manufactured c.
1935-1936, one of 1,000 “lange” barrel (Artillery) model Luger pistols
ordered by the Persian government (now Iran) in 1934 from the German Mauser
firm, with the contract also including 1,006 standard 4 inch barreled Luger pistols as
well. Features markings in Farsi, fixed blade front and notch rear sights (transliterated
graduations “1” to “8” or 100 to 800 meters), the Persian “crown/lion-in-sunburst” crest
marked on top of the barrel extension, Farsi script marked on top of the toggle link and on
the right of the barrel extension, along with a German “crown/crown/U” commercial proof
on the left of the barrel extension and a “crown” proof on the right side. Matching full serial
numbers (transliterated as “3719”) on the frame and barrel extension, with matching
partial serial numbers
(transliterated as “19”)
visible on small parts. Fitted
with a pair of checkered
walnut grips and a nickel
plated magazine with non matching Farsi
numbered alloy base.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 75% plus original blue
finish and 50% original straw colors, light edge wear, Thinning on the grip straps
with smooth grey and brown patinas on the balance, scattered minor handling marks,
and clear markings. the grips are fine with light compression and handling marks in the well-
defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Patent Model 1910/21
Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Magazine
- Serial no. 6555, 9 mm cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish,
plastic grips. Fixed sights, with “crown 24” on the right side of
the barrel and receiver, “HAERENS RUSTKAMMER/19 10/21”
on the left side of the receiver, “6555” on the right side of
the frame, “H.Rk./1713” on the underside of the frame and an
import mark on the underside of the barrel. Fitted with a set of
checkered grips and one magazine numbered “1713” to match
the underside of the frame.
CONDITION: Fine, with 80% of the arsenal refurbished blue finish,
showing areas of brown and gray patina, mild spotting and light
wear. Grips are good, shrunken and warped slightly, with dings
on the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Magazine
- Serial no. 5270, 9 mm Bergmann cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured c. 1910-1912 on
contract for Denmark. Blade front and notch rear sights, with
Belgian proofs on the right side of the barrel, receiver and
frame, “BREVETE/S.G.D.G.” and three-line address on the left
side of the receiver, “387” on the right side of the frame and “5270” on the underside. Fitted
with a matching magazine and a matching numbered pair of checkered grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% arsenal refurbished blue finish, showing edge wear, minor
spotting, a few areas of brown and gray patina, and light handling. Grips are very good, with
some internal cracking and external scattered dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.

Webley & Scott Model 1913 Mark IN Navy
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 1800, 455 Auto cal., 3 1/2 inch
round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured c. 1913. Blade front
and windage adjustable rear sights, with the winged bullet logo next to
“WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/PISTOL SELF-LOADING .455 MARK I N/1913” on the
slide, Birmingham “crown” proofs, “broad arrow” stamps, and “’13” on the
frame, slide and barrel. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide barrel and grip
safety. With checkered hard rubber grips, lanyard loop on the butt, and full blue magazine.
CONDITION: Fine, with 50% of the original blue finish, showing areas of mixed brown and
gray patina, a number of mild scratches and dings, and patches of deep pitting visible on
the right forward side of slide. The grips are also fine, with chipping visible on the right panel
near the takedown button, and minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.
