ZFK31/55 Straight
Pull Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with
Matching Scope and Scope Case - Serial no. 1253, 7.5x55mm cal., 25 inch heavy
round bbl., blue/black finish, beech stock. Manufactured from 1955-1958, the Swiss ZFK31/55 was a continued effort
to adapt the K31 rifle into a sniper platform and an improvement over the earlier K31/42 and K31/43 sniper variants, with a reported total of 4,150
ZFK31/55 rifles produced. Features a fixed winged blade front sight on the FG-42 style muzzle brake with bayonet lug fitted to the import marked heavy barrel
with a standard K31 pattern range adjustable tangent rear sight (graduated from 100 to 1,500 meters), Swiss “cross in shield” crest on top of the receiver ring,
integrated scope mounting bases on the left side of the import marked receiver, a left-side offset magazine well layout, and a contoured folding metal bipod attached to the front of the
trigger housing just ahead of the magazine well. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel chamber and bolt body. Fitted with a beech handguard and semi-pistol grip beech stock with checkered
grip and smooth steel buttplate. Topped off with a Kern AARAU 3.5x scope (thick post) with matching rifle serial number “1253” on top of the body and an integrated quick-detach mount offset to the left
side. Includes a metal transport case for the scope, with matching “1253” serial number on the lid, containing a screwdriver.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine retaining 90% plus original blue and 85% original black finishes with some light edge wear concentrated on the muzzle brake and bipod, some light handling marks, a few
plum colored small parts, and crisp markings. The stock is very fine as restored with a repaired split in the wrist and well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope is exceptionally fine with
minor handling wear and mostly clear optics. The case is fine with worn paint.

Scarce Mauser Model 66 S Bolt Action Sniper Rifle
with Scope - Serial no. 47853, 308 Win cal., 24 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1987. The rifle was manufactured by Mauser as a sniper rifle
variant of the Model 66 hunting rifle. It features a muzzle brake at the end of the barrel which features no sights.
Just ahead of the chamber is a dovetailed section for affixing a scope mount. In this case, the mount is fitted
with a 6x42 scope. The receiver ring is marked with the numerals of the serial number overstruck with “0”s with another serial
number added. The last three digits of the restamped serial number have been electro penciled on the telescoping bolt body and
shroud. The action is fitted in a walnut tactical thumbhole stock with an extra cutout to rest your thumb to the side of the action,
an adjustable comb and buttplate. The Model 66 was adopted for use in sniper teams by militaries and police forces across Europe and as far east as Israel and India. Per consignor
approximately 160 of these rifles were imported to the U.S.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% original blue finish with scattered handling marks and bolt cycling wear. Stock is very good with scattered dings and scratches,
softened stippling, and functioning adjustment. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with slightly hazy optics and a crisp reticle.

Scarce Luxembourg Contract Fabrique Nationale Model FN-49 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 7164, 30-06
Springfield cal., 23 inch round bbl., black finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in
Belgium c. 1952-1953 under contract for Luxembourg, one of 203 FN-49 sniper
rifles ordered in a serial number range of 7001 to 7203 as
discussed on page 106 of “The FN-49: The Last Elegant Old-
World Military Rifle” (2004 publication) by Wayne Johnson. Features winged
blade front and tangent peep rear sights, the “AL” (Armee Luxembourg) marking on top of the chamber, the
Fabrique Nationale address marked on the right side of the receiver, and a scope mount fixed to the left side of the
receiver marked “(flaming bomb)0(flaming bomb)1” and “085”. Fitted with a set of smooth walnut handguards and a semi-
pistol grip walnut stock with a walnut cheek riser screwed on top of the butt. Matching visible serial number on the right side of the receiver,
bolt carrier, top cover, and stock wrist. Topped off with a “A.B.L.-1951” marked scope (serial number “No1348”) with rubber eye piece on an “ECHO” marked dual thumb
screw mount. Includes a M1907 pattern leather sling and a crafted hardwood box fitted for the scope.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% original black finish with some light edge wear focused on the buttplate, light handling marks, some limited spotting, and clear markings. The wood is
exceptionally fine with minor compression marks and crisp grasping grooves. Mechanically excellent. The scope is very fine with light edge wear, flaking paint on the sunshade, and some debris in
the mostly clear objective.

Very Scarce Sparkbrook Lee-Enfield Mark I* Bolt Action
Rifle with Equally Scarce Bayonet - Serial no. 8692, 303
British cal., 30 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
Dated “1902” with blade and folding ladder conventional
sights and a set of volley sights on the left side. The bolt is outfitted
with a safety knob and dust cover, with the address, date and model markings on the right side of the butt socket. Smooth
stock, with “1902” on the right side and a brass buttplate. Included with the lot is a double edged knife bayonet with “1 ‘03”
date and Sheffield maker’s mark and a leather sheath.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish overall, showing areas of brown patina, minor spotting and
wear. The stock is very fine, with some dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is fine, with some spotting,
sheath wear and dings.
