between 1980 and 1983. This
gun was owned by legendary
American General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, commander of the Coalition Forces during
the Gulf War. Built with blued steel barrels featuring dual bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, standard factory markings, chokes marked skeet/skeet, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors.
The barrels are fitted to the blued action which shows “COMPETITION” amongst scroll on either side, standard marking on the underside, a single trigger, and a tang mounted safety/selector. The gun
is fitted with a gorgeously figured and multi-point checkered beavertail forend with blued iron and a pistol grip stock with checkered flats, “H/N/S” in the gold inscription oval on the grip cap, and a
Decelerator recoil pad. Includes three extra matching numbered 27 1/2 inch barrel sets all with chokes marked skeet/skeet, 2 3/4 inch chambers for the 20 and 28 gauge sets, and 2 1/2 inch chambers for
the .410 bore set. Also includes a letter signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead, certifying this shotgun by serial number as being the former property of her father, General H.

CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel sets are also excellent.

Factory Engraved Remington Model 396 Sporting Over/Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 396-
0102, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib ported bbl., blue/brushed bright finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1996 by the Remington Custom Shop. Built with
blued steel barrels featuring dual white bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, interchangeable chokes (skeet/improved cylinder installed), and 3 inch chambers with
ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the brushed bright sideplated action which displays scroll engraving around hunting dog vignettes on either side and factory markings
and features a single trigger and tang mounted manual safety/selector. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved iron as well as a pistol
grip stock with left hand palm swell and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. This gun was owned by General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, legendary American general and commander of the Coalition Forces during
the 1991 Gulf War. Includes a Remington branded aluminum Americase and three extra chokes (improved cylinder, light modified, and modified). Also includes a letter signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on
Schwarzkopf Family letterhead, certifying this shotgun by serial number as being the former property of her father, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8
inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; slight cast-on; weight 8 lbs. 8 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and brushed bright finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Factory E. Zatti Signed, Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Remington Model 396 Over/Under
Shotgun with Case - Serial no. HNS.3, 12 gauge, 30 inch vent rib bbl., blue/satin nickel/
gold finish, walnut stock. Manufactured between 1996 and 1998 by the
Remington Custom Shop for the renowned American General H. Norman
Schwarzkopf, veteran of the Vietnam War and commander of the Coalition
Forces during the Gulf War. The general was a well-known sportsman and
was presented a Model 11-87, serial number “HSN2”, by Remington which is also available in the this auction as Lot 462. The
gun was built with blued steel barrels featuring dual white bead sights on the matted flat vent rib, standard barrel markings,
interchangeable chokes (improved cylinder/modified installed), and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels
are fitted to the satin nickel finished sideplated action which displays highly attractive floral scroll engraving surrounding gold inlaid
“REMINGTON” banners on either side, four gold inlaid stars (for the general’s rank) on either pivot pin, “REMINGTON/HNS.3” and “396”
in gold inlay on the under side, initials “H/N/S” in gold on the trigger guard, and three beautifully detailed gold inlaid game scenes. The
scenes consist of a pointer flushing a pheasant on the left, a lab with a shot mallard in his mouth on the underside, and a pointer flushing a pheasant on the right. The engraving is signed
“Bottega C. Giovanelli inc E. Zatti” on the triggerplate. The gun features a single trigger and an automatic tang mounted safety/selector with gold inlaid “S” indicator. The gun is fitted with
a wonderfully well-figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved iron and a pistol grip stock with left hand palm swell and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Includes a factory branded
Americase with six extra chokes (improved cylinder, two light modified, two skeet, and modified). Also includes a letter signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead,
certifying this shotgun by serial number as being the former property of her father, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech
