Factory Engraved Arrieta/Orvis 20 Gauge Round Action Double
Barrel Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 57-03-34-97, 20 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue/brushed bright finish, walnut stock. Built with blued steel chopperlump barrels
featuring a single brass bead sight on the matted flat solid rib which shows scroll
engraving at the base, “ORVIS ROUND ACTION” marked on the right tube, single
band of engraving at the breech, 1997 dated Spanish proof marks on the flats,
and chambers marked 3 inches with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a
brushed bright finished round body sidelock action which displays near full coverage
floral scroll engraving surrounding “ORVIS/MANCHESTER/V.T. U.S.A.” on the underside. The gun features bushed firing pins,
double triggers, cocking indicators on either lockplate, and tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a beautifully
figured and multi-point checkered semi-beavertail forend with engraved iron and a round semi-pistol grip stock with a blank
silver initial oval and a checkered butt. Includes a canvas and leather flat case with “H.N.S.” inscription plate on the lid. This gun
belonged to the legendary General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, who served two tours in Vietnam and led the United States Military
through the Gulf War earning three Bronze Stars, three Silver Stars, Legion of Merit, Presidential Medal of Freedom, two Purple
Hearts, and numerous other honors. Also includes a letter signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead,
certifying this shotgun by serial number as being the former property of her father, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf. Barrel and
stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed and measured at 15.8 mm (.622 inches);
choke constriction .008/.015 inches; minimum wall thickness .027/.026 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel;
14 9/16 inch length of pull; cast-on; weight 6 lbs. 5 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and brushed bright finishes with minor handling evidence, pressure marks on the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent.

Factory “Piero Ber.” Signed and Engraved F.lli Gamba Sidelock Double Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 54879, 12 gauge, 27 5/8 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Built with blued Boehler steel barrels featuring a single bead sight on the matted flat solid rib, front sling swivel, 1971
dated Italian proof marks, hand cut factory markings on the left tube, import mark on the right tube, a band of engraving at the breech, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with
ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the coin finished sidelock action which displays near full coverage scroll engraving with floral bouquets on either lockplate and
the underside as well as “-F.LLI - GAMBA-” and “GARDONE V.T.” banners on the left and right lockplate respectively. The engraving is signed
on the triggerplate “.INC. PIERO BER.” The gun features bushed firing pins, cocking indicators, pierced floral toplever, a single trigger, and a
tang mounted manual safety. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved
blued iron and coined Anson button as well as a straight diamond shaped hand stock with rear sling swivel, blank gold inscription
oval, and a Silver’s type recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed
and measured at 18.5 mm (.728 inches); choke constriction .014/.027 inches; minimum wall thickness .024/.022 inches; 1 7/16 inch
drop at comb; 1 7/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 12 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 99% refurbished blue and original coin finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp
checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Arrieta/Orvis 28 Gauge Round Action Double Barrel Shotgun
with Case - Serial no. 37581, 28 gauge, 28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut
stock. This gun belonged to the legendary American Four
Star General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, who served two
tours in Vietnam and led the Coalition forces through the Gulf War earning numerous
honors including two Purple Hearts and a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Built with
blued steel chopperlump barrels featuring a single brass bead sight on the matted
solid rib which shows scroll engraving at the base, “ORVIS ROUND ACTION” marked
on the right tube, band of engraving at the breech, 1992 dated Spanish proof
marks, and chambers marked 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors. The barrels are
fitted to a coin finished round body sidelock action which displays extensive floral
scroll engraving surrounding “ORVIS/MANCHESTER/V.T. U.S.A.” on the underside. The gun features bushed firing pins, double triggers, cocking
indicators , and tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with an attractively figured and multi-point checkered semi-beavertail
forend with engraved iron and a round semi-pistol grip stock with the generals “H/N/S” initials in the silver oval and a checkered butt.
Includes a leather flat case and a letter signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead, certifying this shotgun
by serial number as being the former property of her father, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L):

CONDITION: Very good overall, retaining 97% original blue finish, 99% original coin finish, some muzzle wear, scratches along the barrels,
various handling dings and scratches in the wood, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good.
