Stalking Rifle with Zeiss Scope and Case -
Serial no. 883030, 30-30 Win cal., 26 inch part
octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut
stock. Built by Martin Hagn after he established
his shop in Cranbrook, B.C., Canada, in 1985.
Hagn was know for his outstanding single shot
rifles built on his own custom actions, with
this rifle being an excellent example of his
exceptional craftsmanship. Built with a blued
Bohler steel barrel with Hagn’s signature part-
octagon, part-round profile featuring a ramped
blade front sight, a flip-up 100 yard rear
sight, and a set of German style claw mounts
holding a Zeiss Diatal-Z 6x42 mm scope all
on the integral full length solid rib which is
marked with “MARTIN HAGN . CRANBROOK B.C.
CANADA”, “CAL. 30-30 WIN.”, and the
serial number.
