The barrel also features the front sling swivel and light engraving and a gold band
at the breech. The barrel is fitted to the vibrantly case colored falling block action
which displays extensive floral scroll engraving surrounding a beautifully executed
roebuck on the left, a roe deer doe on the right, and a gold inlaid “H” hallmark on
the top before continuing onto the underlever and both tangs. The engraving is
signed “HEISBACHER” on the left in the frame around the roe buck. The rifle features
a bright finished trigger and a tang mounted knurled rotary safety with gold inlaid
safe and fire indicators. The rifle was stocked by Ralf Martini with a magnificently
figured and multi-point checkered Alexander Henry shaped forend with engraved
and casehardened screw escutcheon and a pistol grip stock with engraved and
casehardened grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, three letter initials in the gold
inscription oval, rear sling swivel, and a casehardened, engraved, and checkered
steel buttplate. Includes a full length Huey case with maker’s label lined in green
suede with brass oil pot and ebony handled rod and brush.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and casehardened finishes
with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
Mechanically excellent. The scope optics are clear. The case is excellent. Don’t miss
