the world’s finest engravers. This gun
was built with blued steel demiblock
barrels featuring dual white bead sights on the matted flat solid
rib, “A.GALAZAN” and “CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG. CO./
NB. CT U.S.A.” marked on the left and right of the upper tube
respectively, some light scroll engraving at the breech and
barrel wings, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels
are mated to a brushed bright pinless sidelock action which displays beautifully cut English style
bouquet and scroll engraving surrounding “GALAZAN” in banners on either lockplate and “BCB” on the
underside before flowing onto the toplever, trigger guard, and both tangs. The gun features a single
non-selective trigger, a right hand rolled trigger guard, and a tang mounted manual safety. The gun is
fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered English style forend with engraved brushed bright extended Boss style iron and Anson
button release as well as a round semi-pistol grip stock with teardrop carved drop points and brushed bright and
engraved heel and toe plates around the checkered butt. Includes an extra matching numbered and engraved 29
inch 20 gauge barrel set. Also included is a maker’s leather flat case with two sets of snap caps and some
tools. Barrel measurements for the 20 gauge set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech
.619/.618 inches; choke constriction .005/.011 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.030 inches. Barrel
and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .549/.540 inches; choke
constrictions .004/.008 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.030 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2
3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 7 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue and brushed bright finishes with light handling
evidence and some dried grease on the action. The wood is very fine with some light dings and
scratches and sharp checkering. The lower ejector does not always stay cocked and may drop when
opened; otherwise, mechanically functions. The case is very fine with minor wear and a tear in the interior
lining. The extra barrel set is very fine with light overall wear.

Three Barrel Set with Case - Serial
no. A10-001071, 20 gauge, 32 inch solid rib bbl., blue/brushed bright finish, walnut stock. Introduced
in 2010. Built with blued steel monoblock barrels featuring single white bead sight on the matted flat solid
rib, standard markings, and 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the brushed
bright finished sidelock action which displays attractive scroll engraving on the action body with a pointer
flushing a pair of pheasant cocks on the left lockplate and a setter set to flush a pheasant cock on the right,
both beautifully executed in high detail. The underside of the action is marked “DELUXE” along with “A-10/
AMERICAN”. The gun features dual gold triggers (front articulated) and tang mounted manual safety/selector.
The gun is fitted with a stunning feather crotch figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved coin
finish iron and a federal eagle with a long gun in each talon inlaid near the tip as well as a full pistol grip stock
with coin finished grip cap and a Galazan black rubber recoil pad. Includes two extra matching numbered barrel
sets with their own matching forends, one measuring 32 inches in 28 gauge, and the other measuring 30 inches in .410 bore. Also includes a factory
aluminum takedown case that houses the set. Barrel measurements for the .410 bore set (U/O): bore diameter nine inches
from the breech .415/.415 inches; choke constriction .003/.010 inches. Barrel measurements for the 28 gauge set (U/O): bore
diameter nine inches from the breech .551/.550 inches; choke constriction .002/.005 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.032
inches. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .614/.615 inches; choke
constriction .007/.013 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.028 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/16 inch
drop at heel; 14 15/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 8 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue and brushed bright finishes, slight plum hue on
the barrels, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
The 28 gauge barrel set is very good with some brown patina and the .410 bore barrel set is excellent.
