Russian Bronze Bear Statue -
Measuring 22 inches tall, 15 1/2 inches
wide, and 12 inches deep, depicting a
bear standing on its hind legs among
dead and fallen trees, mounted on a
green marble plinth. An untranslated
Cyrillic signature is present on the base.
CONDITION: Excellent, with minimal
handling marks.

Mountain Lion Bronze Signed Elwell - Signed by
Farthington Elwell (American, 1874-1962). This great
statue depicts a mountain lion standing on a upright
rocky crag of stone looking outward. The mountain
lion has his two front paws on the upward rocky
crag and one back foot on the same crag
and his hind foot on the bottom
of the ground. Smooth skin
covers his entire body and
his tail flows behind him.

CONDITION: Very good overall with
minimal wear from handling and storage.

Razorback Bronze Statue
Signed Barye - Wild forest
boar or razorback (if you are
from Arkansas) bronze signed
by Barye (1798-1875, Antoine
Louis, French.) This great
depiction of a razorback
is on all 4 feet looking
forward to capture game
or attack an unwary
hunter. The tusks are
pointed straight on with
ears down by his side. Signed Barye on the
base. A great animalier bronze sculptor of
the French desire to create wildlife as they
are depicted in the forest. The bronze measures 35 inches by 21 inches by
11 inches and weighs 50 pounds.
CONDITION: Very good overall with minimal handling and storage wear.
This bronze has great detail and chasing of the whole surface of the
animal.

Goddess of Justice Bronze Signed Barrias -
Large court room bronze of the Lady of
Justice or Themis by the Greek name is
signed Barrias (Louis-Ernest, 1841-1905,
French) on the back. The statue shows
the blindfolded Themis with one arm
up holding the scales of justice and
the other arm is downward holding
the sword which is encircled by a
serpent. Themis is resting one foot
on the ground and the other foot
on top of the serpent which she
has pinned between herself and
a book. Highly decorative
Greek classical cloak which
fits her entire body. She
rests on a circular bronze
plinth. The statue measures
14 inches by 25 inches
by 60 inches. The statue
weighs 90 pounds.
CONDITION: Very good overall with
minimal handling and storage wear.
A great statue for a law office.

deep, depicting an eagle
mid-swoop with a
angled tree trunk
serving as the base/

signature on the front. The
eagle is rendered in a mix
of brown, black, silver
and gold, with red
and black painted
eyes and an aged green
tone to the trunk, installed on a
black marble plinth.

marble plinth, with no visible
forge markings.

Elephant - Measuring 12
inches tall, 14 inches long
and 6 inches wide, the
bronze depicts a standing
elephant, trunk hanging low
and grasping onto a leafy
branch, with a set of ivory tusks
and a green/brown marble
plinth. The base is signed
“Osc. Wegener-Bredilin”;
this maker has not been
identified.
CONDITION: Very fine
overall. The tusks are a bit
loose, although secure.

Statue of a Buffalo - Measuring
approximately 20 inches long,
17 inches tall and 9 inches wide,
the bronze depicts a buffalo
rearing up on its hind legs on a
rocky surface. The base is signed
“A.BOUCHER”. Installed on a
black marble plinth.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, with
minor handling marks.
