Remington Model 1816 Commemorative Flintlock American Long Rifle - Serial no. ER1816-0094, 50 cal., 39 inch octagon bbl., brown/brass finish, curly maple stock.
Manufactured in 1995 to commemorate Eliphalet Remington’s first rifle. Includes the manual and folder with documentation on the commemorative. The rifle has dovetailed
blade and notch sights, double set triggers, “REMINGTON 50 Cal” on the top barrel flat, the serial number on the upper left barrel flat, and a well-figured curly maple stock with
brass mounts. Includes a letter signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead, certifying this rifle by serial number as being the former property of her father,
General H. Norman Schwarzkopf.
CONDITION: Very good as restored with 98% plus of the brown finish remaining, bright brass mounts, repairs in the stock, and minor wear. The trigger to lock engagement needs
adjustment to function consistently, and the frizzen spring is weak.

Hatfield Contemporary Percussion American Long Rifle Presentation Inscribed to General H. Norman Schwarzkopf by
the National Wild Turkey Federation - NSN, 50 cal., 39 inch octagon bbl., brown/casehardened finish, curly maple stock. The
cheekpiece inlay on this rifle is inscribed: “National Wild Turkey Federation/General Schwarzkopf/with Deepest Gratitude/1995.”
General H. Norman Schwarzkopf is most famous for his command of the U.S. Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm
and retired from the military in 1991. In retirement, he continued his life long interest in hunting, shooting sports, and wildlife
conservation, including serving on the board of governors of the Nature Conservancy, as a member of the Boone & Crockett Club,
and spokesperson for the Interagency Grizzly Recovery Committee. The barrel has dovetailed blade and buckhorn sights and is
marked “HATFIELD 50” on top. The lock is marked “HATFIELD/WARRANTED.” The rifle features double set triggers. Includes a letter
signed by Cynthia Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead, certifying this firearm as being the former property of her
father, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf.
CONDITION: Excellent overall with 98% plus original finish and minimal wear. Mechanically excellent.

Doc Hopkins Contemporary Left-Handed Flintlock American Long Rifle Inscribed to General H. Norman Schwarzkopf
- NSN, 32 cal., 41 7/8 inch octagon bbl., brown finish, curly maple stock. The oval inlay on the right side of the buttstock is inscribed
“GENERAL/H./NORMAN/SCHWARZKOPF/10-29-92” indicating it was made for General Schwarzkopf a little over a year after his retirement
from the U.S. Army. The barrel is signed “Doc Hopkins” and has inlaid silver
bands at the muzzle and breech, a dovetailed silver blade front sight, an
iron notch rear sight, grooved accents nearby, and a two screw tang. The
rifle is equipped with double set triggers and is mounted with bone and iron
mounts in a Southern “poor boy” style. The stock has a grease hole on the left,
incised carving, and some wire inlaid accents. Includes a letter signed by Cynthia
Schwarzkopf, on Schwarzkopf Family letterhead, certifying this rifle as being the
former property of her father, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf.
CONDITION: Very fine with 95% plus of the original traditional brown finish remaining and minor wear. Aside from a repaired crack that is re-separating in the forend, the stock is very good and has mild scratches
and dings concentrated towards the muzzle on the left and distinct incised carving. Mechanically functions (set trigger before cocking).
