CONDITION: Very fine with crisp engraving and markings, bright gold and platinum,
attractively aged patina on the silver, 85% plus original blue finish on the entry pipe and
trigger guard, light original case colors, 75% original brown finish and distinct Damascus
patterns on the barrel, some minor oxidation staining, and minor overall age and storage
related wear. The stock is also very fine and retains most of its high polish finish, crisp
checkering, and attractive figure and grain and exhibits minor wear including some
scratches and dings. Mechanically functions. The case and accessories are generally fine
with age and storage related wear. B) E. & W. Bond Percussion Pistol - Serial no. 8246, 45
cal., 9 1/2 inch octagon bbl., brown/casehardened/blue/silver/gold finish, walnut stock. As
described in “A.”

barrel, light scratches and oxidation staining on the barrel, and minor overall wear.
The stock is fine and has some small flakes and chips around the lock mortise, crisp
checkering, and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically functions. Overall, a very
attractive cased English dueling pistol set.
