Large Scale Browning
Model 1919 Machine Gun Cutaway Classroom Demonstrator - Measuring approximately 76 inches long, alloy construction
with black/gray paint finish overall and red outlined cuts exposing a set of moving internal parts. A set of legs for mounting the
item to a base or table (not included) are installed on the underside. Included with the lot is a length of canvas cartridge belt
with six rounds of inert ammunition scaled up to match the demonstrator, a set of bolts, nuts and washers, a 1969 copy of TM
9-1005-212-10 (covering the 1919A4, 1919A6, and M2 tripod), and 1980s vintage papers related to a sale of identical training
demonstrators via Interarms.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, with mild wear and handling marks. The bolt is not spring loaded, requiring the charging handle to
be used for both the recoil and return sections of the operation, otherwise mechanically functions. Some of the inert rounds show
chipping of the rims and mild scuffs and cracks.

Large U.S. Model 1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle Classroom Cutaway Demonstrator - Measuring about 96 inches
in overall length, nearly double the size of the original weapon, this is a detailed inert demonstrator for the Model 1918A2
Browning Automatic Rifle, intended as an educational aid for gunners and armorers to understand the workings of the BAR.
Primarily alloy construction, with the exterior painted to resemble the live weapon, red highlights on the cuts, yellow painted
springs, and internal components in a mix of blue, orange, green, gray and black. Included with the weapon are one matching
scaled magazine and four inert cartridges.
CONDITION: Very fine, with mild wear overall, and a dent in the gas tube. The mechanism seizes when cycling is attempted.
