Excellent German Weimar Era Export Marked
DWM Model 1920 Commercial Luger Semi-
Automatic Pistol in 7.65 mm Luger Auto - Serial
no. 3656l, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl.,
blue/straw finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured during
the inter-war Weimar Republic era in Germany c. 1920s for
commercial export sale. Features fixed blade front and notch
rear sights, an undated barrel extension top, the “DWM” monogram marked on
top of the toggle link, a “GERMANY” export marking on the left of the frame,
along with commercial “crown/N” proofs on the barrel, barrel extension, and
breech block. Matching military pattern serial numbers on the frame and
barrel, a matching “56” partial serial number on the side plate, and with the other
components un-numbered. Fitted with a pair of checkered hardwood grips and a
nickel plated magazine with unmarked hardwood base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95% plus blue finish and 70% plus straw colors with
some minor edge wear, minor specks of freckling/spotting concentrated on the straw
colored small parts, a few minor handling marks, along with crisp and bright export marking
and serial numbers. The grips are very fine with minor handling marks in the
well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. Overall an attractive example of an
inter-war German Weimar era export

Excellent World War I Imperial
German “1917” Date DWM Model
1914 Military Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 7465b, 9 mm Luger cal., 4
inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, checkered
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1917. Features
fixed blade front and notch rear sights, the “1917”
date marked on top of the barrel extension, the “DWM” manufacturer
monogram marked on top of the toggle link, “crown/Gothic letter” military
proofs on the right side of the barrel extension, and imperial eagle firing
proofs on the barrel, barrel, extension, and breech block. Matching full serial
numbers on the frame, barrel, and barrel extension, along with matching “65”
partial serial numbers visible on small parts. Fitted with a pair of checkered walnut
grips and a nickel plated magazine with a non-matching numbered walnut base.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% original blue finish and 80% plus original straw
colors with some silvering on the straw colored parts, a few minor handling marks,
limited edge wear and well-defined markings. The grips are also excellent with a few
light handling marks in the well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. Overall an
exceptional example of a World War I Imperial German “1917” dated DWM Model
1914 Military Luger pistol!

Excellent and Desirable
World War II “RZM”
Marked Walther Model
PPK Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 899275, 7.65
mm auto cal., 3 1/2 inch round bbl., blue
finish, plastic grips. Manufactured c. 1933-1934.
This is a very scarce and desirable World War II PPK
with the “RZM” markings. These markings signify
that this pistol was officially manufactured under
contract for the NSDAP and was acquired through the
Reichzuegmeisterei, (RZM office), which was basically the Quartermasters Office.
The left side of the matching numbered slide is marked with the Walther banner
followed by the two line address/caliber designation, followed by “Mod. PPK” and
the circled “RZM” control mark. Commercial “crown/N” proofs marked on the slide,
chamber and barrel. The slide is correctly etched on the inside with the matching
number “275”. The pistol has the high polish commercial blue finish and is fitted with
one piece brown checkered plastic wraparound grips with the Walther Banner at the
top. The slide has a cocking indicator pin and a 90 degree safety lever. Blue magazine
with the Walther banner and a grip extension. The first three digits of the serial
number on the frame have been factory over stamped with
“899”. Includes three extra later production PPK magazines.
CONDITION: Excellent with 97% of the bright original high
polish blue finish overall, with minor holster wear. The grip is
very fine with a nice color overall, distinct checkering on both
sides with a couple of very minor stress cracks. Mechanically
excellent.

Proofed “1942” Date Mauser Banner
Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching
Magazine - Serial no. 5630y, 9 mm Luger
cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, checkered
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1942. Features fixed
blade front and notch rear sights, “1942” date on top of the
chamber, Mauser “banner” on top of the toggle link, “eagle/N” proofs on
the left of the barrel extension and breech block, and a German police “eagle/
(swastika) L” proof on the right side of the barrel extension. Matching serial
number on the frame and extension, with matching “30” partial serial numbers
visible on small parts. Fitted with an unmarked replacement barrel, a pair of
checkered walnut grips, along with a “fxo” code, “eagle/37” proofed, and “P.08” marked
blued magazine with matching numbered alloy base.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish with light holster
pattern edge wear, some plum coloration to the frame, minor thinning with some smooth
grey patina on the grip straps, minor handling marks, and clear markings. The grips are
very fine with light handling marks in the well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
