Desirable Factory Engraved Belgian Browning Renaissance Semi-Automatic Pistol Set
with Case and Factory Letters -A) Belgian Browning Renaissance High-Power Pistol - Serial
no. T151933, 9 mm Parabellum cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., French grey/gold finish, pearlite grips.
Manufactured in 1966, cased with “B” and “C”. The included factory letter confirms the Renaissance
pattern engraving and lists the pistol as sold to Oshmans Inc. in Pasadena, Texas, on July 14, 1966,
under invoice number “040132”. Each of the three pistols in the set feature fixed blade front and
notch rear sights, standard manufacturer markings on the slides, gold plated triggers, along with
extensive relief cut floral Renaissance pattern engravings across most of the frames and slides. Each
pistol is also fitted with a pair of Nacrolac pearl grips and a French greyed magazine. Includes a black
leatherette covered hardwood Browning display case with red felt interior that houses the entire set.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original French grey and gold finishes with limited
minor handling evidence, lustrous colors the grips, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. The case is exceptionally
fine. B) Belgian Browning Renaissance Model 1955 Pistol - Serial no. 606800, 9 mm Short/380 cal., 3 1/2 inch round
bbl., French grey/gold finish, pearlite grips. Manufactured in 1967, with Belgian “star/S” and “lion/PV” proofs. The included
factory letter confirms the Renaissance pattern engraving and lists the pistol as sold to Oshmans Inc. in Pasadena, Texas, on
September 25, 1967, under invoice number “080293”. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original French grey and gold finishes with limited minor handling evidence,
attractive colors in the grips, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. C) Belgian Browning Renaissance Baby Pistol
- Serial no. 349084, 25 ACP cal., 2 1/8 inch round bbl., French grey/gold finish, pearlite grips. Manufactured in 1966, with
Belgian “star/U” and “lion/PV” proofs. The included factory letter confirms the Renaissance pattern engraving and lists the
pistol as sold to Oshmans Inc. in Pasadena, Texas, on August 3, 1966, under invoice number “48835”. As described in “A”.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original French grey and gold finishes with some limited minor handling
evidence, vibrant colors in the grips, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.

Engraved Browning .22 Auto Grade III
Semi-Automatic Rifle with Case - Serial no.
01120RP346, 22 LR cal., 19 3/8 inch round bbl.,
blue/French grey finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1978. Fitted with beaded blade front
and elevation adjustable flip-up rear sights. The receiver displays standard grade III engraving
showing a setter flushing pheasants on the left, a setter flushing mallards on the right, and a setter
with a downed mallard on the top. The gun is signed “M.MAGIS” on the lower left of the receiver. The rifle is fitted with a beautifully figured skip-line checkered forend and pistol grip stock with blued checkered
steel buttplate. Includes a Browning Airways case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and French grey finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good.

finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1980
and subsequently masterfully embellished by Master Engraver Ben Shostle. The gun
features blued steel barrels with a beaded blade front sight on an engraved ramp base,
a flip-up rear sight on an engraved base, deep scroll engraving at the breech, gold scroll
on either side of the muzzle, dual gold bands at the breech, and a set of German style claw mounts holding a Leupold 1.5-5x scope. The barrels are fitted
to the bright coin finished action which displays deep relief chiseled scroll surrounding a bust of a bighorn ram on the left and a pointer with a pheasant cock on the right and features a gold plated pierced toplever and trigger
guard, single gold trigger, and a tang mounted manual safety/selector. Shostle has signed his work on the left side of the action. The gun is fitted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered Schnabel forend with engraved
coin finished iron and a straight hand stock with factory buttplate. Includes an extra matching numbered set of 20 gauge barrels with matching embellishments, 3 inch chambers, and modified/full chokes. Also includes Browning
Airways case. Length of pull 14 1/8 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 6 oz. (with scope).
CONDITION: Very fine as embellished by Master Engraver Ben Shostle, retaining 99% blue, coin, and gold finishes with minor handling evidence, a few minor marks in the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel is also very fine. The case is very good. The scope optics are sharp.
